We had the good fortune of connecting with Christine Cook and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christine, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have worked in the design field for most of my adult career now. After living many unique places across the world, I moved back to Houston in 2020 and knew it was time to go out on my own and start EP Interior. Our group of designers all have differing educations, backgrounds, and specializations which makes us a well-rounded and diverse team. EP has become an immediate success and proves that my leap of faith was the right decision. We love catering to the memorial area and look forward to growing our business more and more!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Although EP is a newer design firm, our diverse team has over 20+ years of interior design experience. We are a full-service firm and have knowledge in all aspects of the industry including new home builds, remodeling, and even commercial and hospitality design. Through our experience and continued education, we keep up with the latest trends in design and are always eager to make each project unique and different than the next. Every project provides challenges, but at EP Interior, maintaining the highest customer service has always been important to us. We strive to make each client feel like a priority while also coming up with ideas they may have never dreamed of for their home.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Our EP Interior team is very blessed to not only be coworkers, but good friends. Our work environment is positive and uplifting because we love who we surround ourselves with and support each other when needed. We also can’t forget the help of our extended team members! Our amazing vendor representatives help us to build, update and maintain our sample library, which is essential for putting together client presentations. We prioritize building strong relationships with our trusted vendors, local craftsmen, and delivery teams to offer exceptional quality products to each project. Our business is only as good as ALL of the members of our team!
