We had the good fortune of connecting with Olga Miliuta and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Olga, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
I didn’t think about the end of my career yet. My biggest dream growing into a big music school with many instructors. At this moment i have 2 teachers. Me and my colleague. Who does music therapy for preschool children.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have multiple degrees such choir conductor, piano teacher and piano player, music theory teacher, vocal teacher. Also i got glasses of music psychological and pedagogy. All this knowledge helps me to build a trusting relationship with each student during the lesson individually. In our music classes, I prefer to teach children and adults comprehensively, not only playing the piano or singing.
I graduated from the State Conservatory as an opera singer and concert singer. I have toured in European countries for many years and also interned with various famous opera and concert artists. I am happy to share my experience with my students.

I haven’t stopped my own singing career at the moment. Performing as an opera singer on various stages. There will be a big concert with the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra in December. I invite everyone to buy tickets and come to our concert on December 9th.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am very grateful to my family and my husband who always support me in all my projects. I started with couple students online and at that moment didn’t think about real music school. My friends always supported me, even when I didn’t believe in myself.
