Meet Emily Morreale | Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Emily Morreale and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Emily, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I grew up fascinated with all things fashion and beauty. I used to put on fashion shows for my family and change my outfits ten times a day. That fascination is something that has stayed with me and has continued to grow throughout my life.
I’ve always been surrounded by the world of fashion, with my mother owning her boutique in Mississippi for 20 years. Starting at 12 years old, I was accompanying her to the Atlanta and Dallas Apparel and Accessories Markets, seeing all the latest trends in clothing and jewelry, and deciding which ones to bring into her store. As I got older, my involvement in her business continued to increase. I loved styling the clothes, creating displays, and helping customers find the perfect outfit. I think seeing a customer’s face light up full of confidence and joy, in feeling amazing in the clothing they are trying on, is the most rewarding part of working in retail. Our customers truly become our friends that feel like family. We celebrate one another’s successes and joyful times of life, and support one another during difficult times.
Now, I hope to create that same environment in my own business. Moving to Texas from Mississippi, I had to leave behind the the job that I loved. I felt lost and as if I no longer had a way to work with fashion, while still creating the connections that made it so rewarding in the first place. I have always enjoyed sharing my outfits, beauty products and home decor on my social media, but I never thought of it as anything more than a hobby. After being inspired by so many talented and creative women on social media, I decided to start taking content creation more seriously. While I am still just starting out, I’ve already made so many amazing connections while also getting to do what I love again.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I would say the biggest challenge of starting my creative journey has been fear. Fear of failing, fear of being laughed at, and fear of not standing out. I’m not sure if those feelings ever fully go away, but everyone has to start somewhere.
I hope to share my personal style, help others find products they love, and build an online community of supportive women who also enjoy fashion, beauty, and home decor.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my wonderful mother. Who I am today is because of her. Her strength and dedication is something that I hope to mirror in my own life. She has always been my number one fan, best friend, and biggest supporter. She is an incredible business woman and the reason I have the confidence to go after my own dreams.
