Hi Garima, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
One thing which I have realized again and again is PERSISTENCE with SMART work – Sometimes your product/service is not right for the time and place so improvise but keep trying. The key for new age business is not being only regular but working smart with it. By smartness i mean change, be flexible in your thoughts to accommodate what your customer wants with your vision. I have so many examples where a slight change has made so much difference. Like, changing the packaging or using ingredients in the name of my blends or tapping on the new trend, keeping different kind of tea blends and all this while you show up regularly at the same market/place. People still need to see that you are committed and will do anything to make your product successful. Cannot fake commitment. Persistence will come only if you are committed to your business and to yourself.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
TRISHNNA TEA- specialized tea company, women owned, GO TEXAN certified, one stop shop for all your tea needs.

one line summary of what we do but we are more than just that. wholesaler, custom blend and a passion for the beverage due to which we wanted to simplify the tea making process hence, came in our patent pending honey infused tea where you just have to add hot water and voila! your tea is ready.

We have been in business for over 7 years now and and are thrilled to have a space in the industry. it was not all easy to have what we have today. but we are proud to have evolve and overcome the challenges thrown at us. Like COVID-19 forced some of our suppliers to shut down there business which in turn affected our sourcing and pricing but then we were also able to find new supplier or a twist in our blend to taste same. Every challenge and shortcoming taught us something new about ourself but we are still not done and have a lot to do.

we want to convey that tea is a very underrated beverage, its actually a wholesome drink catering to individual needs by being just itself. The oldest beverage in the world can help you feel better when sick or cater to your caffeine kick while providing health benefits. can be as sweet as honey or savory as rice. Comes in all colors- white, green, red, black, purple and yellow. There have been wars over tea in the past, yet so easy to procure.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh I love the options and choices we get in Houston. I have been here for almost 9 years now and hardly repeat any restaurants. But couple of my favorite spots to go- Mussaffer for awesome hospitality and cocktails, MAD for great food and vibe, THE POST for breathtaking view. Difficult to choose from bar hoping on 19th street or speakeasy on main street but when you are in space city you have to go to ROSWELl’s Saloon, out of the world cocktails. On the weekends would do brunch at a farmers market followed by indoor art studios on taylor street. Houston has something to offer to everyone.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A big shoutout goes to my husband and partner in everything – SAURABH KAJARIA. He is my biggest support and strength and a tad bit mentor.
