We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaderah and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaderah, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I feel like I’ve always taken risks in my Life, going against the grain and leading my own path. Risk is necessary to discover the unknown and I love to ask questions and find answers. I didn’t come from a background or family that was connected in the entertainment industry so I had to form my own connections and work very hard to show my value as a singer/songwriter and Creator. I moved to N.Y and Nigeria to pursue my career with no fear and continued to take my career to higher heights relentlessly no matter what anyone thought or felt about my desire to never give up.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m not just an artist, but an extraordinary creative phenomenon. This “Dope Unicorn” isn’t just a catchy moniker; it’s a bold expression of her vibrant sound that sends chills down your spine, encapsulating the compelling power of her music.
Ever since her thunderous entry into the African music landscape in 2011, Jaderah has been mesmerizing audiences with her magnetic, creative, and inspirational sound. Her Nigerian-American heritage has allowed her to ingeniously blend the flavors of Pop, Hip Hop, Afro and R&B into a distinct sound experience – “The Jaderah Frequency”.
Her captivating sound brims with invigorating energy, whisking listeners on an unforgettable journey to a fathomless well of melodious bliss. Jaderah’s music seamlessly weaves the freshness of the future with a nostalgic nod to the past.
As a prolific songwriter, she has collaborated with a prestigious roster of Grammy-award-winning producers, including D’Roy Andrews, FingasGotBeats, Ebas, Atle Bakken, Sony Records, Murda Inc, and The Booga Basement. Her reputation as a seasoned music maven led to her role as the official songwriting coach for the inaugural season of Stardom Nigeria.
Her multifaceted talent also led her to rock the Nigerian airwaves as a radio presenter at Cool FM Lagos/Abuja and Hot 99.5 FM Abuja/Owerri, further cementing her influence in the industry.
Jaderahs natural knack for modeling led her to N.Y where she was a high fashion couture runway model for designers such as Adrian Alicea, IT jeans, and Baby Phat.
It doesn’t stop there, prolific Jaderah is a Detox Therapist and Herbalist, she has the gift to reverse disease and ensure a healthy life through her healing modalities.
Her website www.wellnessguidecenter.com displays her products and testimonials from the many clients whose lives she has transformed.

I consider myself a Scientist, I study Quantum Physics and Cymatics which gives me a very deep insight into sound/ existence, its role in reality and how it truly affects all of us. I’m the most proud of my greatest creation which is my baby Imani. I’m excited about where the world is heading with Technology and Consciousness, I am grateful to be able to create in these times. I got where I am today by perseverance, following my inner intuition, studying/researching heavily, working hard/smart and focusing on Originality. Not Easy at all but when your passion leads you- you don’t feel it! I overcame by knowing I truly have something to offer the world that comes from another realm. Ive learned that I’m the Creator of my own reality. I want the world to know that I want to connect and elevate together through Peace, Harmony, and Impactful Music and Love.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I’d take them to the Beach, cook a great meal and Talk about Current events, lol

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
