We had the good fortune of connecting with Camila Houston and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Camila, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The value that matters most to me is the power of knowledge and self-discovery.

As a life coach, I always invest in learning new techniques and information that can help me improve my coaching methods. My purpose is to inspire other women to embrace their real journeys and connect with their feminine energy of manifestation, one step at a time.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Hey there! I’m Camila, and my self-discovery process started in Ecuador. After my grandma passed away on my arms. This hit me hard, right at 14 years old. Suddenly, life forced me to grow up and figure things out.

Five months later, I decided that I wanted to leave Ecuador. Leaving behind everything familiar was tough, but it taught me to value today even enjoy a meal…

Houston welcomed me with open arms, and it’s been my home for six years now. It’s not just a city; it’s where I found my passion and purpose for serving and empowering women. But also to know so many amazing hispanics entrepreneurs that have gave me a chance and guidance. Today I have a beautiful community of over 200 amazing women.

Thankfully, life aligned me with Ainoha and Catalina, two amazing and inspiring women, and together we created Sacred Souls. This women-only event is dedicated to reconnecting; healing, empowerment, and networking for latinas women in Houston.

My entrepreneurial journey has definitely shaped the women I am today. After many tries trying to find my path in sales.
Today I am running a successful merchant services business. That allows me to help small business lower their processing fees daily.

Running my own business hasn’t been easy. There were challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt. But I’ve learned that resilience and determination can take you far. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, I am so thankful for now be able to make a difference in people’s businesses.

What sets me apart is my belief in the power of knowledge and self-discovery. As a life coach, I’m always studying more and more, to bring better guidance and resources to others towards personal growth and self consciousness.
Like with Sacred Souls, bringing spaces for women to explore new self discovery tools and life changing experiences.

Life’s taught me the importance of embracing new experiences, this will guide and give you lessons that will help aligning you into your better future.

My goal is to inspire other women to embrace their journeys and connect with their feminine energy of manifestation, one step at a time.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Day 1: Start with upscale dinner at 51Fifteen by Saks 5th Avenue in the Galleria Mall. My favorite upscale American restaurant with a Spanish touch, great ambiance and gourmet cuisine.

Day 2: For breakfast, head to Ojo de Agua in the River Oaks district for some fresh Mexican cuisine! Amazing.
Check out wineries outside Houston, for a cultural experience outside the city.

Day 3: Treat yourself in a Sacred Souls mini retreats – events if you’re a woman. @sacredsoulshtx

Day 4: Best Steakhouse Casa do Brazil, known for its delicious Brazilian-style meats. And their amazing cocktails.

Day 6: Try Clarkwood Bar, a low-key bar but amazing environment.

Day 7: You must purchase a day pass into Marriot Hotel in Downtown for their Texas shaped pool and visit Discovery Green, where you can enjoy outdoor activities, art installations, and maybe catch a live event or concert.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout deeply to key people that definitely have be part of my journey.

Firstly, I want to honor my grandmother, Mami Pepa, her passing in my arms taught me one of life’s hardest lessons: to cherish every moment with my family and never take anything for granted. Her love, wisdom, and resilience have profoundly influenced the woman I am today.

I must credit my birth mother, Mami Fernanda, who is not just my mother but also my best friend and life partner. Her experiences and invaluable advice have been guiding lights, constantly pushing me to become a better version of myself.

I also want to recognize the powerful impact of books like “The Power of the Subconscious Mind” and “Success Is Not an Accident.” These books have gave me invaluable knowledge and different perspectives that have helped my personal growth and business.

Lastly, I am immensely grateful for life that put in my path, Ainoha and Catalina. Together, we created Sacred Souls, a women-only event dedicated to empowerment, healing, reconnecting and networking for Latina women. I am so thankful with their friendship, it has been amazing. I always learn something new by their side.

They have all played crucial roles in shaping my story and the women that I am today.
