We had the good fortune of connecting with Rose Remington Brittany Lewis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rose Remington, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind our catering business is deeply rooted in our shared passion for cooking and out desire to elevate people’s food experiences. As Leos, both my business partner and I bring a lot of creativity and energy into everything we do, and this reflects in how we approach food. We aim to expand our clients’ palates and give them a new perspective on what they put into their bodies. It’s about more than just preparing a meal, it’s about creating an experience that resonates and transforms how they view food.

What should our readers know about your business?
Operating in a vibrant food scene like Houston, Texas, we understand the importance of standing out. That’s why we approach every dish with care and passion, ensuring that each meal is crafted with love. As a Black owned business, our diverse cultural backgrounds are a key influence on our cuisine, allowing us to offer a unique and customized experience tailored to each client’s needs. While running a business comes with its challenges whether it’s managing a fluctuating client base or juggling busy schedules our love for cooking and commitment to continually enhancing our clients’ dining experiences keep us motivated and inspired. Our business is built on the principle that the customer is always right, which is why we take pride in offering highly customized services, including in-home dining and travel experiences. We owe our success to the unwavering support of our clients, the guidance of God, and the passion that the true essence of being a Leo brings to our work. This energy and determination are what drive us to continually elevate our business and deliver exceptional experiences.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’re both homebodies at heart, and we’ve created our home to be a cozy and enjoyable sanctuary. However, if a friend were visiting, we’d definitely want to show them some of Houston’s culinary gems like the authentic taco spots and the incredible barbeque on the South Side. We also love spending time in nature and enjoying chill, outdoor activities. Houston has a vibrant community with diverse cultural events, and there’s always something happening. We’re big fans of car shows, places near the water, and supporting local events, so we’d make sure to explore those with our guest.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to our family, friends, and clients who have supported us every step of the way. Your encouragement and belief in what we do mean the world to us and drive us to keep pushing boundaries in our business. We wouldn’t be where we are today without your unwavering support.
