We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Marieka Thomas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Marieka, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Putting my children first in all aspects of my life was the most important decision I made that ultimately contributed to my success. By prioritizing their well-being, happiness, and needs above all else, I was able to create a stable and supportive environment for them to thrive in, which in turn allowed me to focus on my own personal and professional growth. This mindset helped me stay motivated, inspired, and driven to achieve my goals, knowing that my children were always my top priority.

I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my mother, Dr. Rosalyn Fagen. She has been my biggest supporter, mentor, and source of inspiration throughout my life.
