We had the good fortune of connecting with Eno Acha and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eno, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My husband and I own several businesses together, with him being the visionary behind every establishment and me handling the day-to-day operations under his leadership. His ability to see the big picture, sets the foundation, and then trust me to run with it has created a great partnership that has allowed us to build successful ventures. This dynamic, where we complement each other’s strengths, has been central to our success.

Starting these businesses was driven by our shared desire to make a meaningful impact. After I transitioned from corporate finance within the Oil & Gas industry to clinical research, we saw the opportunity to leverage our skills and experiences to address needs in healthcare and therapy. This led us to co-found several ventures, including Restore ABA & Speech Therapy, where we focus on providing compassionate, scientifically-backed ABA therapy services for children and families in need.

In addition to Restore ABA, we own BioLife Genetics Research, which brings innovative, cutting-edge therapies and medicines to clinics. We partner with physicians to introduce drugs that could benefit their patients, always focusing on bringing the latest advancements into the healthcare space.

We also own Ceregen Health, which is expanding into providing foster care in a group setting for special needs children within the system. Our goal is to create a supportive and safe environment for children who need it the most.

Additionally, we run the Martins and Eno Acha Foundation, which supports initiatives in Africa and has recently begun sponsoring grants for families with special needs children here in the US. We are developing an initiative called Joyful Journeys Family Support (JJFS), which will focus on providing financial support, respite care, access to parent support groups, and prayer teams for families with special needs children. We believe that the struggles of these families often go unnoticed, and our mission is to bring awareness and offer support, with the belief that the strong should always lend a hand to the weak.

When it comes to finances, we take a strategic approach. I’ve learned to balance personal and business finances carefully, prioritizing investments in education, family, and business while ensuring we manage our resources responsibly. Our success has come from taking calculated risks, relying on faith, and trusting God’s guidance in every step.

Work-life balance has been something we’ve had to constantly adjust. In the early days of building our businesses, there was a lot of time and energy dedicated to growth, but over time, we’ve learned to delegate, set boundaries, and focus on being present for each other and our children.

The most important factor behind our success is our faith and perseverance. Trusting in God’s plan has always been a source of strength for us. We’ve faced challenges but have always overcome them by relying on our partnership and staying focused on our goals. Integrity is the value that matters most to me. I believe in being honest, trustworthy, and dependable in all aspects of life, as it builds lasting relationships both personally and professionally.

Our end goal is to build a legacy of compassion and impact. We want to be remembered not only for the businesses we’ve built but for the lives we’ve touched. By the end of my career, I aim to continue expanding our mental health business, combining my expertise in clinical research, ABA therapy, and clinical psychology into an integrated care model that makes a meaningful impact.

Entrepreneurship has allowed me to channel my creativity into making a real difference. One book that has deeply impacted me is God’s Unique Gifts, which I authored. Writing it allowed me to express my faith and inspire children to recognize their unique talents. It reinforced my belief that everyone has gifts from God, and it’s our responsibility to use them to serve others and fulfill our purpose.

In summary, our journey has been one of resilience, faith, and dedication. Together with my husband, we’ve built businesses that reflect our shared vision of service and compassion, always rooted in our belief that we must help those in need. We aim to leave a legacy that inspires others to pursue their own dreams and make a difference in the world.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our business is driven by a higher purpose and the power of God. Everything we do is rooted in faith, trusting that the vision God laid in our hearts will be fulfilled for His glory. We believe we are simply stewards of His blessings, using our gifts and resources to make a positive impact in the world.

At Restore ABA & Speech Therapy, this manifests through our faith-based approach to serving children with autism and behavioral challenges. We take a holistic approach, focusing not just on their clinical progress but also on healing their mind, body, and soul. This focus on faith and positivity sets us apart and makes us more than just a therapy center—it makes us a place where children and their families feel supported and valued.

The journey hasn’t been easy, but through perseverance and unwavering trust in God’s plan, we’ve overcome challenges. I’ve learned that success is not just about hard work, but about faith and trusting that God will bring to fruition the vision He has placed in your heart.

What I want the world to know is that everything we do is for a greater purpose. Our businesses—whether it’s Restore ABA, BioLife Genetics Research, or Ceregen Health—are all driven by the belief that we are here to serve others and make a meaningful impact. We are committed to leaving a legacy of compassion, healing, and service, all while trusting in God’s greater plan.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Day 1: Arrival & Home-Cooked Dinner
My friend would stay at my house, and I’d cook a delicious meal for us to enjoy at home. We’d spend the evening catching up over dinner in a relaxed and cozy setting.

Day 2: Family Fun & Church
After breakfast at Blooms & Bee at The Post Oak, we’d take the kids to Boardwalk and grab ice cream or a local park for some fun outdoor activities that kids need. In the evening, we’d attend a service or Bible study at Lakewood Church to refresh our spirits.

Day 3: Spa Day & Nigerian Cuisine
We’d start the day with a relaxing Thai massage or spa time at The Post Oak. For dinner, we’d head to Princess African Restaurant on Little York to enjoy some delicious Nigerian food. Later, we’d have a quiet prayer session or fellowship at home to close the day.

Day 4: Church, Drinks & Fun
We’d attend a morning service at CyLife Church, followed by a restful afternoon. In the evening, we’d go to Kiss Houston for drinks and a fun night out.

Day 5: Family Time & Prophetic Prayer
We’d begin the day with breakfast at First Watch or Little Hen, then take the kids to a park or boardwalk for some family time. In the evening, we’d head to Rock of Prayer Ministry on Dairy Ashford for a prophetic prayer session, a powerful time for spiritual empowerment.

Day 6: Relaxation & Farewell
We’d finish the trip with breakfast at home. The rest of the day would be spent relaxing at home, reflecting on the meaningful experiences shared.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a big shoutout to my husband, Martins Acha. He’s been the visionary behind all of our ventures, and his unwavering support, love, and encouragement have been central to everything we’ve built together. His ability to see the big picture and his faith in me to bring those visions to life is the foundation of our success.

I also want to recognize my parents for their prayers and upbringing, teaching me and my siblings to stay away from evil. Most importantly, I give all glory to God showing me favor and mercy and lighting my path every step of the way. The Holy Spirit has been my guide. As Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
