Meet Mwanamke Jordan | Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mwanamke Jordan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mwanamke, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
I would say that nothing is promised, no matter how hard you work, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t work hard. And at some point in your life if you’re not already doing it, you need to follow your dreams and you’ll have to work hard at them, but at least it’ll be for you And it will bring you so much peace and satisfaction.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I recently became a content creator this year after getting fired from a six figure position that had been my career for 22 years. And literally on the day I got fired which was March 6. I started this journey. I’m 54 years old and I never doubt it that there wasn’t a space for me and in that moment, I didn’t actually know that there was a growing population of more mature creators. I was glad to fall into that rabbit hole, but I was gonna do it regardless. I found passion in this and knew that no matter how hard it was I was going to be a success. I studied other content creators I paid and took training whether in editing or coaching, and I found my tribe. I love the fashion, although I don’t consider myself fashionable I just think I’m a good Dresser. I’ve always love trying new products. I’m a product junkie although I can’t do more than a five minute Make-up look. And I love being creative and editing, and telling a story and actually entertaining, my audience. And I’m not saying there aren’t other creators that do the exact same thing they just aren’t me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d get on a train and go somewhere else LOL

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Really… My mom and dad. They’ve always been supportive. They’ve always allow me to explore different things and at times when I needed it, they were there for me financially to allow me to pursue my dreams. They shaped who I am and if it wasn’t for them, I may not be able to do what I’m doing now.
