We had the good fortune of connecting with Peter Burnett and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Peter, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“Do all the good you can, in all the ways you can, just as long as you can.” My grandmother always said that to me at the end of every conversation. It’s a charge to consistently be a good person and to do good thoroughly. It’s a consistent reminder to be a source of positivity in the world and I strive for that daily.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’ve been training since 2019 and earned my IFBB Pro League status in 2020. Through my online coaching business, Inviktus Fitness, I provide personalized training programs tailored to each individual’s goals. I’m passionate about helping clients not only transform their physiques but also improve their overall well-being—physically and mentally.

I believe that no goal is out of reach with the right guidance and support. The fitness industry is filled with trainers, and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust my clients place in me to help them become stronger, more confident versions of themselves.

One of the biggest misconceptions in fitness is that PEDs, fad diets, or surgery are the only ways to achieve the physique you want. I know firsthand that results don’t happen overnight, but with discipline, focus, and the right approach, transformation is possible—naturally, without shortcuts. Every single one of my clients has reached their goals through hard work and commitment, and I take pride in helping them realize their full potential.

Everyone starts somewhere, and my mission is to show people that they are capable of more than they think. They are unconquerable.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For anyone visiting Houston looking for places to get a great workout in, I recommend gyms such as Iron City Gym, Roman Empire Gym, Alphaland, Level One and Reign.

One of my favorite restaurants in the city is Dona Leti’s – everything about Dona Leti’s is excellent from the food, drinks and atmosphere, it’s a great place to have a great meal.

The Galleria is a cool place to visit for people coming for out of town for shopping and restaurants in the area. Then there’s the Museum District, Discovery Green, Third Ward, Memorial Park; nightlife downtown, Midtown and The Heights. The city is getting more exciting again with the pro sports teams doing well – the Texans, Astros and Rockets are all enjoying success lately. There’s so much to do in Houston that you really can’t go wrong.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to give a shoutout to Ian Buchanan for guiding me along my personal fitness journey and for being my coach for the entirety of my bodybuilding career. I want to shout out my best friends, Justin Williams and Kene Chinweze for always being in my corner. I want to shout out my girlfriend, Farrah who means the world to me. I want to shout out my brothers, Paul and David. And I want to shout out my pride and joy, my beautiful, brilliant daughter Gabrielle.
