We had the good fortune of connecting with Sale Jay and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sale, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want my legacy to be undeniable, to be so strong and inspiring that no head can turn away from the truth I leave behind. I want to be remembered as the one who never backed down to life and the one who won in a life where nothing is ever promised.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My music is very raw yet inspiring, what sets me apart from others is my drive and will to be the best at whatever I push myself to do, I could never let anything stop me from doing what I know I was destined to do. I made it where I am today because of my faith in myself, my families support, and last but not least god having my back when the devil favored me. It was never easy and never will be easy but life is just a game once you figure out the coding you control everything around you. I want the world to know that Sale Jay could never be stopped and I ride for who rides for me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them somewhere with nice aesthetics and bring our own drinks or whatever and cook some nice steaks and burgers and stare off and let all the stress leave the body. The most exciting thing to look at or be around is a beautiful view to release.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My kids, My Girl, my friends and family deserve the recognition for never letting me fall off. Without a support system you can’t reach your full potential.
