We had the good fortune of connecting with Osaru Osaretin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Osaru, what do you want your legacy to be?
I want my legacy to be rooted in God in Christ Jesus and how I made people feel—truly seen, genuinely supported, and empowered to move forward with confidence. Whether in business, in friendship, or in passing conversation, I hope I’m remembered as someone who led with compassion, walked in integrity, and stayed steady in moments of uncertainty.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career in real estate has been more than just a job — it’s been a calling. I didn’t choose this profession solely for sales or success; I stepped into it because I saw it as a way to serve people — to walk with them through some of life’s biggest decisions with trust, guidance, and a heart of integrity.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just focus on transactions; I focus on people. Every client, every family, every situation is different, and I aim to be present for them, not just as a professional, but as a person of faith who leads with honesty, compassion, and commitment.
The journey hasn’t always been easy, but through prayer, perseverance, and staying true to my values, I’ve built a brand grounded in purpose. My clients often say they feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for — and that’s what I’m most proud of.
I want the world to know that my mission in real estate is to serve with faith, build lasting relationships, and create a legacy of trust and hope.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Fulshear and Houston for a week, I’d make sure she experienced the perfect balance of nature, great food, and city life.
We’d start the mornings with peaceful bike rides along the scenic hike and bike trails in my neighborhood, followed by brunch at Essence House Cafe, or at Local Table, or at fresh seafood at Pier 36 — all with that small-town charm.
Midweek, we’d head into Houston to explore the Museum District, especially the Museum of Fine Arts and Houston Museum of Natural Science. For dinner, we might go casual at Pappadeaux’s or enjoy a fine dining experience at Brennan’s of Houston.
We’d spend time outdoors at Buffalo Bayou Park or Hermann Park, and maybe catch a show at the Theater District or a concert at Toyota Center. One evening would be for shopping and dining at CityCentre or The Galleria, with dinner at North Italia or Dish Society.
By the end of the week, we’d unwind back in Fulshear with a sunset walk, coffee at Blockhouse Coffee & Kitchen, and a quiet night under the stars. It’s the perfect blend of Fulshear’s calm and Houston’s energy.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
