Meet LaToya Campbell-Davis | Mobile Notary and Loan Signing Agent

We had the good fortune of connecting with LaToya Campbell-Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi LaToya, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I knew I had to start my own business because I’ve always had the desire to be self-sufficient. This was apparent even at a young age, when I attempted entrepreneurial ventures. I reasoned as a youth that self-sufficiency is important and can yield a peaceful form of fulfillment, empowerment, and freedom. Currently, I can shape my schedule around my family’s needs and take time for self-care as well. The work-life balance available in my industry was exactly what I needed at the time I started my business. That was the ultimate goal and drive behind the process.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
When I started Noble Source Notary Services, I wanted to launch a business with purpose. I needed a career that allowed me to support my family while creating something meaningful and lasting. The work-life balance available in my industry was exactly what I needed, but what kept me here was realizing that my business serves a purpose for many, such as seniors, people who may be homebound or hospital-bound, or someone needing last-minute service.
What sets my business apart is the care and integrity behind every service I provide. I believe professionalism and kindness should never be optional. Whether I’m assisting a family closing on their first home, helping a senior complete an estate document, or meeting someone at the last minute to notarize signatures on an important form, I approach each appointment with patience, respect, and gratitude. My goal is to make sure every client feels valued and confident from start to finish.
Getting here wasn’t easy. I built Noble Source Notary Services from the ground up — self-funded as a self-motivated learner and fueled by faith. I invested in my education through programs such as Notary2Pro and the National Notary Association (NNA). I became a member of both the NNA and the American Association of Notaries, received assignments from platforms such as Notary Dash, Notary Go, and Snapdocs, and spent countless evenings studying, marketing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and perfecting my craft. There were moments of uncertainty, slow seasons, and learning curves that tested my commitment. But my faith, family, and determination carry me through.
Along the way, I learned that success isn’t just about being the biggest or the fastest — it’s sometimes about being remembered for how you made people feel. Each signing is an opportunity to demonstrate excellence and empathy, to remind people that professionalism can still come with a personal touch.
Today, I’m proud that Noble Source Notary Services has become more than a business — it’s a brand built on trust, integrity, and faith. “Noble Source” isn’t just a name; it’s a promise. It’s my reminder that when you lead with purpose, respect, and faith, every door meant for you will open in its time.
My journey hasn’t been perfect, but it’s certainly been purposeful.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d recommend the restaurants “Taste” for lunch or dinner, “The Breakfast Klub” or “Snooze” for brunch, Miller Outdoor Theater or Jones Hall for theater-styled entertainment, and the Houston Improv for a comedy show. Perhaps the concert venues in either Sugar Land, TX (Smart Financial Centre) or the Woodlands, TX (Cynthia Woods Pavilion). Being originally from Richmond, VA, centered me within a small yet deeply historic African American community. I later called Philadelphia home for about a decade, where I was exposed to even more people, cultures, and traditions. Those experiences broadened my perspective and strengthened my love for exploring not only my own culture, but those of diverse communities as well. So, I may be compelled to take guests to a First Saturday Arts Market, a city tour to include the Houston Graffiti Murals, Meow Wolf interactive museum, the Houston Museum of African American Culture, the Black Cowboy Museum in Rosenberg, a Project Row Houses event, or any number of museums showcasing the rich and diverse cultural fabric of Houston. Finally, we’d definitely end it off with a night at a small, intimate venue such as Scott Gertner’s “Rhythm Room” for an upscale evening of great vibes, spectacular food, and wonderful music from local and national artists.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate my shout-out to my family for the love and encouragement they’ve instilled within me to remain open-minded, lead with dignity and respect, extend that same respect to others, strive for excellence, and keep faith in God above all else. All of this, plus life experience, has allowed me to learn to persevere through various challenges, and I am thankful.
