We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Martin-Howell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind our success, and the success of the brands we work with, is simple: ownership.

We don’t operate like a traditional marketing agency. We step into your business and treat your brand as if it were our own. Every decision, every strategy, every dollar spent is approached with that level of care and accountability.

Nothing we do is mass-produced. There are no templates, no plug-and-play campaigns. Everything is intentionally built around what actually makes sense for your business: your goals, your market, your stage of growth. That level of customization is why we’re selective about who we work with.

We’re also partner-led, which is a big part of why our clients see the results they do. The strategy, execution, and consulting aren’t handed off, they come directly from Jessica or Brittany. That’s also why we maintain a waitlist. We’d rather grow carefully and protect the quality of our work than scale at the expense of our clients’ outcomes.

At our core, we’re a boutique firm that takes pride in what we design and create. Our success is tied directly to our clients’ success, and we approach every partnership with that mindset from day one.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets us apart starts with how we see ourselves: we’re not a traditional marketing agency. We’re a partner to the brands we work with. That means we take ownership, we stay close to the strategy, and we build everything with intention. Nothing is mass-produced, and nothing is handed off. Every brand we work with is shaped directly by partner-led design, strategy, and execution.

We’re especially excited about 2026 because it’s a year of intentional growth—but not in the way most people think about scaling. We’re already waitlisted for much of the year, and that’s by design. Instead of chasing volume, we’re growing alongside our clients. They’re doing some incredible things right now, and being able to support that kind of momentum, at a high level, is exactly where we want to be.

Getting here wasn’t easy. One of the biggest challenges we faced was realizing what we didn’t want to become. There’s a lot of pressure in this industry to grow fast, take on more clients, build a bigger team, and operate like a traditional agency. We had to make a conscious decision to step away from that path. It meant turning down opportunities, slowing things down, and really dialing in on who we wanted to work with and the kind of impact we wanted to have.

That shift changed everything. It allowed us to stay grounded, to protect the quality of our work, and to build deeper, more meaningful relationships with our clients. It also reinforced something we believe strongly: not every business is meant to scale the same way, and that’s a good thing.

The biggest lesson we’ve learned is that clarity creates momentum. Once we got clear on our values, our process, and our standards, the right clients found us—and we’ve been able to do our best work because of it.

What we want people to know about us is simple: we care deeply about what we build and who we build it with. We’re intentional, we’re selective, and we take pride in helping brands grow in a way that actually makes sense for them.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If our best friend was coming into Houston, we’d treat it the same way we approach our business: intentional, elevated, and centered around great people.

The week would really be built around the brands and spaces that make this city feel alive—many of which we’re lucky enough to call our clients.

At some point during the week, we’d make sure to swing by a Houston Business Women’s networking event, because that’s where you really feel the energy of the city. Being in a room with women who are building things, creating things, and pushing ideas forward shifts your perspective in the best way. It’s not just networking, it’s inspiration and real conversations.

That’s really the best part of Houston—it’s not just the places, it’s the people behind them. And that’s honestly what we’d want to highlight most. We’re surrounded by founders, creatives, and operators who are doing incredible things, and getting to experience their spaces, their brands, and their vision firsthand is what makes it all worth it.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We’d give that shoutout to our entire community—our clients, our collaborators, these are the people building something meaningful.

Every brand we partner with brings a different perspective, a different level of ambition, and a different challenge to solve. That keeps us sharp, but more importantly, it makes the work rewarding in a way that goes beyond just results on paper.

Entrepreneurs and our corporate leaders are the ones taking the risks, making the tough calls, and pushing things forward even when it’s uncertain. Being trusted to step into that with them, to help guide growth, shape strategy, and execute at a high level, is something we don’t take lightly.

So a lot of the credit goes to them. They make the work fun, they make it impactful, and they’re a big part of why we’ve been able to grow the way we have.
