We had the good fortune of connecting with Jonathan Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jonathan, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Consistency is probably the important factor in my success. I try keep the consistency of my work good by consistently trying to work in general. If I am consistently working then my imagination is always on. If my imagination is consistently on then the probability of me to hit a break through is higher than if I was not trying to consistently work,

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I do not know what sets my work apart from other artist besides that I make it so its mine. I have never really thought about it like that. I am excited about being able to make more art, It was not easy haha, but nothing that is great comes easy. It just depended on the challenge itself but ” pushing through” is something that UI consistently had to do and continue to have to do. A lesson I have learned in my journey is always be working if you’re always working then you always have art to sell and art to show in exhibitions. My name is Jonathan Paul Jackson and I love making Art

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Black Hole Coffee and Think Tacos in AM I love to cook so lunch would be prepared by me everyday and we would eat in my Garden I have in my backyard Bludorn for Dinner Drive in movie at Sawyer Yards MFAH and the CAMH New Botanical Gardens that just opened up Bike Rides on the new bike trails that go through the city

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
