We had the good fortune of connecting with Christie Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christie, what do you attribute your success to?
I would say there’s many attributes behind my success thus far. If I had to pick one, I would say the most important factor would be my attention to detail. I work endless hours and will not complete a project until I feel confident knowing that my client will be 100% satisfied with end results. Although my business is not where I would like it to be, I am grateful for my awesome clients that have trusted me to help them take their small businesses to the next level with the services that I offer. I’ve grown to learn that what really matters in business is the overall quality, not the quantity.

Additionally, communication is the runner up in my success. The key to any type of relationship, especially in the business world is to communicate. When working with my clients I keep an open line of communication no matter what. Communicating with my clients lets them know that I am working on their project and exemplifies a sense of urgency. This alone builds a rapport with the client and open doors for future business deals and potential clients.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the owner of Nina’s ProServices. Where I provide small business solutions to help small businesses develop their business and take it to the next level, I specialize in various services: such as Life Insurance, Mobile Notary Services and will soon be set up to offer Remote Online Notary Services. I also offer website setups for entrepreneurs, caterers, online boutique owners, and more. No, I am not a website designer; I am merely a freelancer who sets up websites for those business owners who are too busy to do it for themselves and those who don’t have the necessary skill set.

Additionally, I offer Digital Creations such as invitations, flyers, party signs, church programs, photographic slideshows and more. My attention to detail sets me apart from others. I wholeheartedly believe in putting my best foot forward in anything I do. Some may consider me to be a perfectionist. I have a strong passion for what I do. I truly enjoy creating and designing business products for my clients to streamline their businesses. My motto is work smarter, not harder!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My bff and I both love to shop, relax, eat and drink. We would spend the week shopping at the outlet malls, get a massage and manis/pedis. We definitely would hit up some of Houston’s seafood spots and enjoy some ice cold cocktails!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout dedication goes to my family undoubtedly, they are my biggest fans! However, I would like to make this shoutout exclusively for my daughter, Christa – my mini me. Everything in life I do for her, she is my motivation to never give up on my hopes and dreams! My goal is to ensure she has a better life and for her to know that the sky is the limit no matter what obstacles may come. She pushes me to keep going when I feel like giving up sometimes. This is for you baby girl; mama loves you so much!
