We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicholas Wilde and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nicholas, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
The habits that have helped me succeed are consistency and discipline. Whether that’s discipline to stick to a workout schedule, a posting schedule, a relationship schedule or what I tell myself I’m going to do, it takes the consistency to follow through with them to become successful and that’s something I haven’t always practiced through my life, but have learned from trial and error and will continue to push in all areas of my life. These will help anyone who has a goal, dream and vision succeed.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I created the very first online personal training business that is personal Every workout program is customized and tailored to an individual’s needs, body structure, goals, injures, to help them become a stronger human in the gym and out on the street. WILDAESTHETICS, my business, is fully equipment with professional, backed by science, world class workout programming, nutrition coaching, life coaching and guidance to help people transform themselves from all over the world. There’s nothing like it, especially with the community WILD has to offer, everyone of my clients feels special. It’s professional, fun, and exciting, those are the 3 words that describe the environment my clients are in. It wasn’t easy building up WILD and still isn’t! That’s where people get it wrong. You can see me as “successful” because I have a running business but I still work 16 hour days sometimes, often, 10. I work because I love it. Work isn’t work to me. I help build lives and transform, create and teach, there isn’t anything more exciting than that. I’ve learn’t that it takes persistence, consistency execution and discipline to build a business. You need to treat it like a job even though it isn’t and you need to make it your own while also managing your mental and physical health.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, I would take a friend to Banff but honestly there isn’t much to do in Calgary unless it’s warm outside and then you can hit the man made beaches in some of the southern communities. It’s always nice driving out to Banff to go hike or to roam down town and visit Stephens ave or 17th! Lots of food and drinks spots down there to enjoy a nice meal on a nice day.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
the people who deserve the biggest shout out are my parents. When I was younger I saw the no through their won struggle trying to provide for multiple kids. Seeing them on their “come up”, working multiple job to keep food on the table and treat us when they could inspired me. At one point in my life they were into entrepreneurship. I was introduced to great leaders like Alex Morton and Bob Proctor at an early age and since then it inspired to me dream big and pursue whatever I wanted in life. When I wanted to take my fitness career online, I was introduced to the 10k academy where I was taught everything I needed to succeed online, so using their systems helped me a ton and I’ve been grinding ever since.
