We had the good fortune of connecting with Armeisha Gauche and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Armeisha, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I am from Houma, La. a city about 58 miles south of New Orleans, LA. My beginnings were humbling. It’s crazy, because my kids believe that we are this super rich family and I actually feel good about that because growing up I knew we were poor. LOL.

Now, I didn’t have the worst childhood. & this is no disrespect to my mom, because growing up, becoming a woman and a mom I’ve learned to extend grace to my mom. I’ve learned that she had her own trauma she was dealing with. But, I had a grandmother, a praying grandmother. She taught me everything I know. Growing up the only girl with 3 brothers I’ve always had to be SUPER INDEPENDENT. I’ve always had to look out for my siblings. My grandmother started teaching me how to cook between the ages of 7-8. I was washing and hanging clothes on the clothes line around that time too. I believe that’s why I’m more of an ALPHA female now.

I actually manifested my entire life, EARLY ON. At the time I did not know what I was doing. I would sit on my grandma’s front porch and visualize me rich, living in a nice home, driving a nice car. I was always different. I always thought different. I always knew that I would be successful somehow. I didn’t know doing what, but I just knew. I’ve had a fire in me since a child.

Moving to Houston after evacuating for a Hurricane has been life changing for me. I love my home state, I love our culture, our food, our southern hospitality BUT I LOVEEEEEEE Houston. I love to see it as a common thing for BLACK PEOPLE to have successful businesses, live in beautiful neighborhoods, have nice cars, enjoy fine dining….I love seeing black people living their lives…..luxuriously & unapologetically. My goals have gotten bigger since moving to Houston coming from a small town. It’s like “Girl is that it” LOL.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am what some people would call a “Jack OF All Trades” but i am a MASTER of a few. When people asks me what do i do, i always reply “Whatever it takes” Lol. I am a serial entrepreneur. It’s hard for me to “niche down” because I enjoy serving people. I’m the woman that you could call about starting up a business, branding/content, business/personal credit, business growth strategies, you need some motivation or feeling uninspired or you need someone to sell you a house. Lol. I love it. I enjoy wearing my many hats. I’ve been praying to God and asking him what it is exactly that I should be doing and I never get a direct answer. Lol. I don’t think I sit still long enough to get an answer. I’ve built a community off my expertise, influence and just having the ability to inspire, uplift and motivate the people that follow me. I get so many messages daily like “omg I needed to hear that” or “that post was for me”

I’m most known for helping my husband grow his pickle hobby into a multi six figure business. I’ve been business savvy, I’ve always dropped gems on social media, I’ve always researched and studied business and different markets but when people seen what I helped him accomplish it got their attention. It’s like “oh, she does know what she’s talking about.” Lol.

That company, AMAZIN Kajin Pickles helped me gain so much of clarity. In less than one year my husband went from riding around the neighborhood selling pickles out his trunk to having his pickles stocked on the shelf of 100 stores. I was able to walk away from my job of 5 years to pursue entrepreneurship full time. The growth was exciting but it was overwhelming and i’m very transparent about that. I was not ready for the growth and success of that company. The company wasn’t structured properly for that type of success. You go from making/selling 100 bags of pickles in 3 days to having to have thousands of bags pickled, packaged, delivered and stocked to 100 stores in 7 days. It was ALOT! I tell people I can show you how to get your products in stores but just be prepared for the growth that comes with it.

This is why when mentoring start up business owners and/or established businesses that haven’t seen much growth on making sure you have SOPS and processes in place that can be on automation and can handle the growth you’re anticipating. It can be a recipe for disaster if you don’t.

I’ve since halted the operations of that business since moving to Houston after the Hurricane in August.

The thing about me is, I know BUSINESS. I can pivot whenever necessary because I know BUSINESS. From start up, to growth to the exit plan…I Know BUSINESS.

Currently, I’m building my real estate business. I’m currently a luxury real estate agent with Collective Realty Co. This is exciting because I wanted to be a realtor in the 4th grade. This was my dream career and the way it has taken off for me, confirms I’m right where I need to be. I co-own a freight broker business with my husband, I will be dropping a luxury candle line “scentsformecandles” soon while also building a community of like minded women via a Facebook group “AMAZINPreneurs”

A SAFE Space To UPLIFT Women, To Pour Into Women, To ENCOURAGE Women To Live A Life Of Luxury, To Chase Their Dreams, To Create Additional Streams Of Income, Fix Their Credit To VENT….To Be A WOMAN! We Are ALL AMAZIN WOMEN!!! Be sure to join Us!!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Now I’m what you would consider an “AUNTIE” LOL. I like to go out and brunch or day party so that I can be in the bed by 7:00 p.m. rubbing my feet together LOL.

I’m more of a brunch and content friend. We’re going enjoy brunch/lunch and get some bomb content. So they know, I’m not the person to have the best time ever with. LOL.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My HUSBAND. I did not know who I was or my full potential until I met my husband. He has been pouring into me since the first day that we met. When I met him I was working in a warehouse and to me I thought that was a good job but my husband is a HUSTLER. He’ll try to sell water to a fish. Lol.

He made me realize and feel that fire inside of myself. He made me address the uncomfortableness I was feeling on jobs. He made me see just who/what I am called to be. It’s hard to explain. He contributes all of our success to me but if it had not been for him pouring into me, encouraging me, uplifting me……I would’ve never been able to tap into my own potential.

My CHILDREN. I didn’t have the worst childhood but I always said when I have kids, I will do my absolute best to give them a childhood they do not have to heal from. I love being a mom. My kids are always so excited for my accomplishments. They clap for me. They tell me I’m the best. They brag on me. They’re just some amazing little boys.

Also, I’ve taken many courses, webinars and have had numerous business coaches but I started following Arnita-Johnson Hall in 2016 and my life changed. She owns Luxurious Credit. I started following her to learn how to repair my credit. She would always tell her rags to riches story, she was so authentic and relatable. She was actually one of the first BLACK WOMEN besides a celebrity that I seen WINNING, in real life. My first business was a credit repair business. Being inspired by her & her story, I started my entrepreneurial journey.
