We had the good fortune of connecting with Sehar Tejani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sehar, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Values have a great impact on who you are in life and in your career. They define who we are and how we define ourselves and our brand. They form the foundation of our character, and since you must live with yourself, your values should be one of the most important things in your life. If I had to pick one value/principle that matters to me more than anything it would have to be AUTHENTICITY. I feel like everything we do in life and in our career depends on being authentic to who you are. If you stay true to yourself, you will be authentic to the people around you in life and in your career. I have always lived by the motto: What others think of me does not matter if I stay true to who I am. Be authentic at every phase in life. At the end of the day, authenticity is really the basis of the “trust”. If you’re authentic to who you are in life and career, people will always have that trust in, you. Authenticity is not only a value that I hold for myself, but others as well. If I am authentic, I want to surround myself with people who are the same and uphold those values.  

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Well, I have an Event Planning business. We specialize in Weddings but also plan birthdays, corporate events and so much more! You can’t capture our work through pictures or videos but through the emotions of our clients and how we made them feel. We make sure to treat every client as if it’s our top priority and they are our only client at the moment. They have unlimited access to us whether you hire us for Full Planning or just Day-Of- Coordination; you are special to us and this is your day. Every event excites us more than the previous one. I have been doing this for 4 years now and event day still gives me ‘first date” butterflies; where you want everything to be PERFECT and STRESS-FREE from beginning to end. I think that feeling will never go away. This journey was not easy, but it was an exciting one and we have come so far and must go so far. This is just the beginning. We just want our potential clients, clients, previous clients and repeat clients to know that when you trust us to help plan your event or wedding, we promise to make that as stress-free as possible for you. We are here for you every step of the way.

OOhh so this is an easy one since I have lived in Houston my whole life. I will break it down my categories.

Places to see: Tolerance Sculptures on Allen Parkway is a sight to see specially at night. All around Downtown for amazing graffiti art. Discovery Green for a fun day out. Drive In movie theater!
