We had the good fortune of connecting with Tito Durojaye and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tito, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was that I wanted to see something improved and I knew the quickest way to see that was to do it myself. In terms of stock education groups, I started stock trading when I was 15 with some birthday money I had on Robinhood, I signed up for countless groups but none of them really helped because it was just copy-and-paste signals. So I turned to using trial and error through the internet, and from there I learned how to handle money and read charts. So when I got old enough to start my own business, I wanted to share this information with others, so I made my first educational YouTube video about stocks. I check in a couple of months and the video is at 100k views, so I thought to myself I can keep doing this because it’s actually helping people. And that’s where the idea to start my own educational stock group was born, I was just hoping to be the change I wanted to see. The same idea with my clothing brand, I wanted abstract designs to come alive, so I took the time to learn how to design art and put it on my clothing.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My clothing brand focuses on abstract art and putting that on quality clothes. I design all the art myself and a big shoutout to my partner Ian Odili, we do the marketing and planning together. I believe my brand differs from others because it tells a story in each art piece, and I put time and dedication into it. It definitely hasn’t been easy but we keep growing each day by making Tiktok videos, doing giveaways, and meeting new people and telling them about it. I’ve learned that support can be big or small, I appreciate someone reposting the brand or shouting me out just as much as I appreciate someone buying something from the store.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Houston is a hotspot for things to do most definitely. If it was a week-long trip, I would stay in the Post Oak Hotel with its amazing views, then first start with pretty much any brunch place. Next, I’d recommend the Fine Arts Museum, this has many food spots and other museums next to it so your entire day is booked with stuff to do. If you’re bored at night, you can ride scooters downtown and zip around the city. Can’t leave this off without saying to eat at Mico’s Hot Chicken, I’ve been in love with it ever since I first bit into that sandwich. Definitely wind down some at the various parks we have like Buffalo Bayou Park, Hermann Park, and Smither Park. To take some pictures, visit the McGovern Botanical Gardens.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to accredit where I am in life to my parents, they taught me from a young age how to hustle and how to build wealth. They’re always there to say that they’re proud of me when I accomplish something.
