We had the good fortune of connecting with Tuna and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tuna, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Dedicated for sure. Motivation comes and goes and can not be relied on. You have to set your course and stay with it to get where your going.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m mostly specializing cat doing for my clients. I always try to provide more then the average artist for them. I have specialized for many years in polka trash, water color, cover up and fix up tattoos. I’ve dedicated years through the study and practice of these techniques. In every tattoo that I do I apply all these years of study to provide the best quality product I can and that’s the legacy that I want to leave.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of the sites and scenes of houston are great and we’re definitely hit up downtown but ultimately I’m more of a nature guy and I think people should enjoy nature so I would definitely hit up lake Livingston lake Conroe Sam Houston national forest and hit a lot of the ice houses and biker bars along the way real people And great food.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This industry is full of great mentors and a comroderie that cannot be matched. But the most important key to success is in the family. My wife has always supported my career and always contributed to its growth.
