“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. This scripture, Philippians 4:13 has been a mantra of mine since I was an athlete in high school. Whenever I was nervous or anxious, I would repeat this scripture over and over to myself. Many of those that are close to me, would call me bold and courageous – but really I am constantly reminding me of my ability through Christ. This scripture tells me that I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency. There have been many times in my life that I will account the strength of my faith to have gotten me through its adversities, even as a business owner now. There is no need to fear or worry when God is my source of strength. Read more>>

I truly do believe in the power attraction, so I usually start my days by writing in my journal, “What I focus on is what I manifest” I then make a list of my long term goals on the top and my short term goals on the bottom. I know from previous experiences that if you focus on negative thoughts, you will receive negative energy and events. “What I focus on is what I manifest” means what you focus on, expands. Whatever energy you focus on, is exactly what you will attract into your day. So instead I focus on manifesting positive energy, starting off with my health and emotions. Regardless of the list of manifestations I have in mind for the day I always include: I am protected. I am happy. I am at peace. I am healthy. I am positive. I help others. I include those six affirmations first and then I began to manifest everything else that matters to me like wealth and success. Read more>>

“Have compassion; Breathe well; Keep it simple.” We both love this quote by Hamish Hendry, an Ashtanga Yoga teacher based in London. Often life feels complicated and overwhelming. Information and instruction on how to be and live comes in from all directions. Our minds are busy and we feel disconnected. These words remind us to pause, catch our breath, and see more clearly what is truly important in our lives. We both believe that compassion should guide how we live as well as how we practice and share yoga. It seems simple but it is a constant practice of self-reflection and quieting the mind. Read more>>
