We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrienne Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adrienne, how do you think about risk?
I believe that taking risks are a necessary part of life. It allows you to show yourself how to be determined, courageous, and sharpen your instincts. I took a huge risk by owing, building, and operating a mobile salon with no guides, models, or advise. Just sheer drive, vision, and lots of prayer! It’s the best risk I’ve taken! Now I’m a true independent entrepreneur blazing my own path, and I’m so happy!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I currently own and operate a full service mobile hair salon. It’s a wonderful experience to be able to show up at a location of my clients choosing and being able to provide services that are convenient for them. It’s brought on a new level of excitement and appreciation from clients who want to enjoy a luxurious salon experience without having to travel from the comforts of their current location. Creating this opportunity was challenging because there are no guides or insight for creating such a space. It took pure vision, patience, determination, and prayer to be able to accomplish executing the completion of the mobile salon. I put my heart and love in creating the space, and the warmth and love is felt every time someone steps into the salon! I learned that the same vigor and tenacity that it takes to start a business, is the very same energy that it takes to keep your business running. Also, being flexible and willing to try new methods to better your business are a plus!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start with dinner at the bar at Steak 48. The food is great, the ambiance is chic, and the bartenders are amazing!! They give the best service in the city! I also like to go to Maryz Mediterranean and sit outside on the patio! It’s such a cool vibe and the food is pretty good too!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My success and inspiration comes from everything and everyone that I’ve been connected to. From my family and friends, clients, strangers, pets, billboards, flowers, fashion, and everything in between. It has all played a part in my daily motivation to be creative, determined, and inspired.
