We had the good fortune of connecting with Bri Joli and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bri, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
Literally taking that jump and not letting fear hold me back.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Bri Joli is an online fashion store based out of Houston, TX. I strive to bring confidence in others through fashion, simply by listening to their desires, wants, and fears. Helping others see a new vision of themselves that they might not have seen before makes me excited about what I do. Getting to where I am now was not the easiest because there were major sacrifices and jumps that needed to be made. I overcame these challenges with prayer, faith, and positive support from others. I have learned in order for you to grow you must first believe in yourself, trust the process, and just do it!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
To me, Uptown hookah is one of the places to go for a good time, Nice chilled yet fun atmosphere. Cheddars, Grand Lux, and Turkey Leg Hut is definitely a must to check out for good food and drinks. The Galleria, down town, Memorial City, and Sugar Land are the areas where the fun, food, and drinks is endless. A comedy show at the Improv is a must to check out.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yes, Simply praises to God, family & friends.
