We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my brand off the struggle, I had lost everything. I had lost my job, car was repoed, and I had gotten evicted. I knew that I had to figure something out because I was a mother, and son didn’t understand what was really going on. La Lutte started off as just a clothing line, and then I added more talents to the brand.
La Lutte stands for The Struggle in french, & our motto is No Struggle, No Success
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a consultant, I travel around the United States & teach providers and nurses a new software. I love to travel, and meet new people. Some of the lessons I have learned is you really can achieve anything just put your mind to it.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would most definitely do spa day, go to brunch, and checkout some hookah spots. I love to relax, and have game night with my girls; however, I am that friend that leaves early lol. I don’t like shopping in stores, it gives me anxiety; however I love a good brunch. If its football season, we would for sure go watch football & eat crawfish.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout all of the brands thats pushing through the struggle, no matter how hard it gets they keep pushing. Being a entrepreneur is one of the hardest obstacles; however its so rewarding. I also want to give major shoutouts to my family & friends because I know sometimes my vision is beyond crazy but yet they are still present to support me. My sister Jacqueline, my cousin Marquita, & Elizabeth wow!!!!! Im so grateful for everyone,
