We had the good fortune of connecting with Caitlin Scott and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Caitlin, what do you attribute your success to?
The support from my fellow entrepreneurs, family and friends has been the biggest part of why I do what I do! I truly love connecting with new, like minded people and making new friends! We all want new girlfriends right? Especially the times we’re in right now. Showing up on social media is so rewarding. Engaging, chatting and supporting other women and business owners is what we all need right now to grow. The support is overflowing and I’m here for it!Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We as women are our own worst critics. Being a mom, content creator and entrepreneur are among some of the most challenging hats I wear. I’ve learned I’ve the years to give myself grace, enjoy life to the fullest and celebrate your wins. Yes, even the small ones! Giving your all into the things you enjoy, showing up and always be in learning mode have helped my business grow to new heights! Are there days you don’t want to get up, struggling and hard? Of course! But knowing and pushing towards your end goals will pay off. So if you wear many hats and you feel swamped or overwhelmed, just know that YOU are loved and supported by many and allow yourself some grace. You’ve got this!If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There’s a few areas I have in mind for anyone visiting. First would be Tomball. I live in Tomball, TX and there are so many great makers and small businesses we love supporting out here. Too many good food places to list, SO many great options for whatever you’re craving. Some of my favorites are Cisco’s, The Market and Every Bellie’s. Great shopping and even an awesome farmers market on Saturday’s! Another great area is the Springwoods Village. They have all kinds of events as well and it’s a super nice up and coming area! There are so many great places to check out and I always love supporting handmade and small shops when I can. So just walking around Old Town Spring or anywhere with local boutiques is so fun!The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
So many people play a role in my life who I would love to list but that list is so so long (a great problem to have 🙃) which I’m incredibly grateful for! I work with a makeup brand, Seint and the ladies I talk and chat with daily are some of my biggest cheerleaders, supporters and role models. We rise by lifting others and those words are my truth! Their mentorship, guidance and positive energy make doing what I do that much more rewarding.
