Meet Caroline

We had the good fortune of connecting with Caroline and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Caroline, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Awakening Soul Divinity is a podcast devoted to sharing raw, real stories of transformation. Each guest opens up about their journey—moving through trauma, adversity, or a life-changing catalyst. We begin with their lived experiences and how those moments shaped them, then shift into where they are now and how they’re using their healing to support and uplift others.
But this isn’t just about storytelling—it’s about building a soul-aligned community. A space for Old Souls, Empaths, and Highly Sensitives and anyone who is on their healing journey, to come together, uncover the truth of who they are, and rise into higher consciousness—together.
I created this podcast to inspire and empower. When we hear how someone has moved through the darkness and reclaimed their light, it sparks hope. It reminds us that healing is not only possible—it’s powerful. And it’s even more powerful when we walk the path in unity as we are one.
Above all, I want listeners to remember: you have agency. You are not alone. And you have the power to move through anything—into wholeness, truth, and freedom.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What I’m most proud of in my 35-year healing journey is that, like the guests on my podcast, I’ve walked through deep trauma and found my way to the other side. Now, I share both my story and others’ to guide people back home to themselves—to become beacons of light for the world.
My healing journey, which began at 27, was also sparked by a lifetime of painful experiences: childhood trauma from divorce, Generational Holocaust Trauma, Parental Alienation, and Military Sexual Trauma and Harassment. These experiences became the catalysts that pushed me to dig deep and uncover my truth—not the lies I had internalized about being unworthy, a failure, or someone I was never meant to be. Those false beliefs shaped unsustainable relationships and a life that didn’t feel like mine.
To heal, I explored every path I could—spiritual, mental, and physical. Therapy, somatic work, and nervous system healing helped me unravel years of conditioning and what would later be recognized as Complex PTSD. I was determined to live a life filled with joy, and I sought every resource to turn trauma into triumph. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth every step.
The biggest lessons? Self-love. Self-worth. Patience. Surrender. Acceptance. Letting go of who others expected me to be. Embracing that I didn’t have to fit in—that being fully me is more than enough.
I want the world to know: healing is possible. You can regulate your nervous system, reclaim your joy, and build a life that’s truly your own. You matter. Your presence matters. And even something as simple as your smile could be the light that helps someone else find their way.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
More than likely, I would share places that were healthy and nature based. So your ecoregions like, Piney Woods or Post Oak Savannah or the Arman Bayou Nature Center. I love bookstores, as I am a writer, so I would probably say the Brazos Bookstore, Kindred Stories or Blue Willow Bookshop.
I would also share metaphysical shops because they are just fun to go to. Maybe Pocket Full of Stones Crystal Shop or Our Little Red One Shop.
Looking at places to eat, I would include Ginger Mule, Bellagreen or Flower Child and I would probably hang out in a coffee shop to write or work on my podcast like Anonymous Cafe or Fifth Vessel Coffee Co. My challenge is that I don’t even drink coffee, I drink tea, but I love the atmosphere in them.
One of my favorite things to do is just meet and talk to locals so I can get the lay of the land that way!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
To my children. To the many friends along the way that stuck with me. To Fort Freedom in Jupiter, FL who got me through the last Dark Night of the Soul I experienced two years ago. And… to the people, opportunities and experiences in my life that were catalysts for me that helped get me to the point that I knew I needed to heal and uncover my truth.
