We had the good fortune of connecting with Ced Thomas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ced, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset, and I ultimately chose real estate because I thought it would offer the most flexibility—though I quickly learned that wasn’t exactly the case. In reality, I’m often on call for my clients, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Seeing the joy on their faces at closing makes all the effort worthwhile.

Real estate also provides unlimited earning potential and true independence. What really drives me is the opportunity to grow and transform my community. My business allows me to connect people with the best places to live or build their dreams, and it’s been incredible to help clients create fulfilling lives through their purchases

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Day 1 – Food and Wine
I’d kick things off just south of Pearland to visit a local *wine vineyard*. It’s a peaceful escape where we could enjoy some Texas wines, great scenery, and maybe . Afterward dinner at my favorite spot, *Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse*. There’s nothing like starting the trip with endless cuts of perfectly grilled meats, along with the amazing salad bar.

Day 2 – Outdoors Adventure
We’d start the day at *Memorial Park*, one of my favorite outdoor spots in Houston. It’s perfect for taking a stroll or biking through the trails. The park has some of the best green spaces and views in the city, giving a little break from the hustle and bustle.

Day 3 – Waterfront Fun
Next, we’d head down to *Kemah Boardwalk*. It’s a must-visit, with great food, rides, and shops along the waterfront. The highlight would be taking a yacht cruise there’s nothing like being on the water, enjoying the breeze and city views. After the cruise, we’d grab some dinner at one of the boardwalk’s restaurants and watch the sunset over the Gulf.

Day 4 – Museum District
We’d explore Houston’s *Museum District*, starting with the *Houston Museum of Natural Science*, then maybe check out the *Museum of Fine Arts* or the *Contemporary Arts Museum*. There’s so much history, art, and culture packed into this area, and it’s the perfect way to spend a day getting inspired.

Day 5 – Golf Trip
Let’s add a golf day to really make the week memorable! Houston has some great courses, so here’s how we’d work it in. Wildcat Golf Club has two courses, The Lakes and The Highlands, Wildcat offers incredible views of the Houston skyline. It’s a favorite for its unique, hilly layout, which is rare in Houston, and it’s challenging but fun for players of all levels.

Day 6 – Relax and Recharge**
Walk around the Galleria and catch brunch at a local spot like *moxies*. Afterward, we could explore the boutiques in *Rice Village* or *The Heights*, and just take it easy before the trip ends.

Day 7 – Sports
For something lively, we’d head out to catch a game at *NRG Stadium* to cheer on the *Houston Texans*. The energy in the stadium on game day is unmatched, and we could make a day out of tailgating and enjoying some classic stadium food. After the game, we could hit up *Almeda* some day parties maybe grab a stogie at a local bar, then check out some live music.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to take a moment to sincerely thank my clients for their business and trust. Their confidence in choosing my services has been the driving force behind my success. Without their support, none of these achievements would be possible. I truly value the relationships I’ve built with so many of them, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve them. Their loyalty and belief in what I offer continue to inspire me to work harder and deliver even better results.
