We had the good fortune of connecting with DeMarcus Bumpers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DeMarcus, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
Mr. Bumpers most difficult decision was having to choose between his Six Figure Oil Field Career and Acting Career. As the auditioning started to intensify more and more he found himself having to be absent from work as he would have to travel to various States to audition for roles.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Mr. Bumpers is a film Producer and Actor that has already appeared in a string of films that he not only Act in but also bears the hat of Film Producer such; Beware Of Paul Pry, Celebrity Fever, and Secret Killer. Mr. Bumpers Leading Man Role came when he appeared in Secret Killer which is now streaming on Reveel TV, Fawesome TV, and is set to stream on several platforms such Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Tubi, and more. Most of Mr. Bumpers films can be found on those streaming platforms as well. The films continue to hold a place runner on the platform which critical to an Actor because if films don’t get enough traction on platforms they can be pulled off the streaming platforms for underperforming.

DeMarcus appeared in The Devil Comes Dressed For Church Too which is scheduled to hit select Theaters March 29, 2024.

He is currently in Production on new film called “Double Karma” where he will appear in The Leading Man Role and hold the Title of Film Producer.

Mr. Bumpers is scheduled to appear in over a dozen films between 2024 and 2026.

Mr. Bumpers was just Cast as Series Regular in a Television Show called “The Pack” where he will play a racist black police officer. The show is set to go to television networks. Filming is set to take place in Florida.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
DeMarcus would take his best friend to the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, They would go to the beach in Santa Monica and Malibu, Go to Nobu to mingle with Celebrities, Rodeo Dr. Beverly Hills for Shopping, Hiking to The Hollywood Sign, Walk down Sunset and go to one of the restaurants for food. The list goes on and on.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Mr. Bumpers want to recognize his Mentors Pastor Dr. Rev Jeffrey Parker Sr. And Dr. Richard Greggory Johnson iii. Also, The Men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. Great leaders and mentors exist within the organization and they provide key tools to help you navigate the complexities of life. There are hardcore values provided to you as a Man to help you navigate through life.
