We had the good fortune of connecting with Electra Solis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Electra, how do you define success?
Success started with me overcoming my fear and forgiving my failures in life. Success can come in different forms and areas of your life. Only you can welcome “Success” into your space and energy. Success can be overcoming an element of emotions, Success can be achieving an educational achievement, Success can also be financial balance and freedom. I always refer back to Drake’s Song Successful, this song definitely has an inspiration towards success.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m most grateful for the business path that I’ve taken because I get excited connecting with other women. Sharing and creating visions with like minded women brings out the beauty of unity. My business today thrives off the environment I’ve created for Glamour House Studios, it took awhile to find my brand and home for my business but I can honestly say I wouldn’t choose it any other way. One of my regrets was investing my time and money with people that weren’t aligned with my destiny, sometimes you have to disconnect from others or God may even remove those from your path. The disconnection allows you to narrate your own vision and path. Glamour House Studios is it’s very own beauty community of independent boss babes.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So if I wanted to show my best friends the best time ever in Houston, we would hit some of my favorite spots! First lets get coffee at Uncle Bean’s cutest little drive thru coffee shop. Day vibe includes a morning work out at memorial park or a 30 min 9 Round work out. Dinner and drinks are a big deal here in Houston! Lets lets get dressed up, stop #1 Mad Houston for cute pictures and delicious cocktails. Bisou second stop for a quick pregame, Steak 48 for dinner can’t go wrong with the Ny Strip, whipped potatoes, the bread and Very chocolate cake. Night life! Umm I’m not sure about this one, LOL I don’t go out much. We will have to do our research but I will definitely have us a room at The Post Oak Hotel the pool area and rooms look like our type of vibe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutouts! Shoutout to my grandmother that played the mother and father roles. Shoutout to my brother that showed me without hard work and hustle you have nothing. Shoutout to my ex boss Kevin Papich, he mentored me earlier in my career and he showed me my full capabilities. Shoutout to my cousin Andrea she believed and encouraged me every step of the way. Shoutout to my spiritual mentor La France, he has molded me into my spiritual path and showed me God does listen. Shoutout to my friend and mentor Connie founder of Houston Latina Bloggers she welcomed me into a beautiful community of women with open arms. Shoutout to my Husband who has counseled with words of wisdom and strengthen me during the entire time of being a entrepreneur. Shoutout to my daughter my greatest creation, she spoke life into me. I am her hero as she is mine.
