We had the good fortune of connecting with Fantajia DeLisa Thomas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Fantajia, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
I believe that the most important point to get across with my daughter is that she truly can become what it is that she want to become. But I willing to be opened about my life and hopes that it answers some questions for her. I want for her to have a reference point. I am willing to die to my old ways and purse Fantajia to change the trajectory of my my legacy. With her being the next generation of women, I want her to understand that I love her so much and a lot of my decisions came with many sacrifices. I want to be a role model to her but for her understand that before I was her mother, I was once a young lady in a city of possible and with not much of a true road map to work from. I want to give that to her. I want my great, great grandchildren to know my name.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
IRocCharms Designs started off as me wearing beads to set as intention bracelets. I started to learn quickly that I was a walking magnet therefore the bracelets became tools. I made it a business. I realized that, that was another tool. Then I learned money. I realized it was another tool. I realized that iRocCharms will give me an outlet creatively. It was like putting together choreography with my hands. Designing my life, one bead at a time. When you purchase from iRocCharms, you are fueling a dream, you’re watering a garden, with Intention. Do nothing without intention. In return, you receive a piece of creation that has meaning and inspiration attach to the energy transfer.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I love to be near the Ocean. It is where I feel most connected to God. It is where I feel intrenched with myself. A great lunch/dinner is always excellent. Anything where good vibes are allowed.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The Game to Life and How to Play it. – Florence Slovel Shinn This helped me to crack a code. People wonder sometimes how I carry such loads of responsibility. I’ve learned Law of Life. therefore, I did not have to work so hard in the physical. Majority of my work was spiritual. This was the first book that helped me to understand the Bible. I was able to put life into perspective.
