We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacqueline Tran and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jacqueline, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
After working at numerous different Medical Spas and visiting countless others, I began to realize the need for a more personalized, specialized approach to facial aesthetics.
I have a vision for a high-end, modern space where facial aesthetics is prioritized and where I could seamlessly integrate regenerative medicine with facial rejuvenation. I strategically made these visions come to life and began Injection Bar Medspa and Wellness.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Injection Bar Medspa providing the highest quality cosmetic and aesthetic injectables, including Botox/Dysport, Filler, Kybella, Sculptra, PRP/PRF, and PDO threading. Our providers at Injection Bar also specialize in helping our clients achieve ultimate skin health by utilizing proper medical-grade products and integrating appropriate and evidence-based skin health procedures. It was a long journey of planning and self questioning and discipline. It was not easy of course, as I have been trying to do build my brand with a budget .I built my own website, promoted my own website and services, performed the services while still working full time at a busy Med Spa. I hope my journey inspired women to take a lead and be brave enough to believe in themselves and start their own journey to do whatever they want to do . One lesson i learned is self doubt is my biggest enemy. The world is full of oysters, go get it !
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I considered myself Houstonian as I have moved here since 2005. I love the diversity of Houston culture. I love to go see my girl friends on the weekends at River Oaks on saturday morning. It is a really good place for brunch and shop local at the farmer market nearby. I would start my weekends at Toulouse in River Oak, people watching, catch up with my girlfriends , then we probably headed to the Marquis for a nice pool day. At night I will go to Main Street in downtown to walk around the city, enjoying the night life as we walk from parking garage to Batanga, where they have live Latin music with small tapas. We will end the night at Frank pizza , one of the oldest pizza spot in downtown. As Sunday morning came, I will go to La Fisheria for a unique buffet brunch and enjoy the authentic Mexican street food there. Houston is such a great place to live as all the cultures blended into food and music everywhere I go
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a Shouout to Katie Hallenbeck, my good friend that been with me since the journey started. All the planning and conversations that lead to the opening of my business.
