We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaethebaddieboss and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaethebaddieboss, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We live in a world that is forever changing. No matter what you do, It can be done virtually too. I began to realize that the skills and education that I gained throughout my journey could be used outside of a physical building. I wanted to create a business that I could be proud of and that aligned with my natural creative and strategic vibes. So, I thought, why not start a Virtual Assistant business. I have a Master’s in HR Management and tons of administrative experience that could be used to help CEOs, Founders, and Influencers streamline their services, so I just went for It. I took the risk, although taking this risk resulted in me losing my job and steady income, I knew It was something that I needed to do for myself. I’m so happy that I just went for it, though. Now, I want to help others discover how they can build virtual businesses that align with their passions and skills and regain their luxury of time back by doing things that they actually love.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am the owner of The Jae Company, A virtual Assistant business dedicated to helping CEOs, Influencers, and Founders streamline through Administrative Services, Operations, Creative Strategy, and HR. Although this is my business, I am a CREATIVE at heart so I use my creative ability to help others as a virtual entrepreneur coach whose main purpose is to help them discover how to turn their skills into profit virtually. Starting this business wasn’t without its challenges, I lost a lot, not only my job but my steady income. But this did nothing but inspire me to go harder. One thing I pride myself on is my ability to know when it’s time to jump out and get out of my comfort zone. Although my story is still developing, I know that in the end, it’ll all be worth It and MORE, because It already is hahahah.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my family, my amazing friends who literally told me I could do it (Cekeisha, Marian, Karissa, Kayla, Tameka, and so many more), and my mentor Ronaldo Hardy.
