We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristi Jeu and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kristi, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have always been an independent person and thinker. So starting my own business was a easy decision for me. My thought process was I wanted to avoid being limited. I thought the sky is the limit with my own business. I would have the freedom and ability to determine my future. But with that freedom comes a lot of responsibility and hard work. I felt the risk was more than worth the reward.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Bella Mortgage specializes in commercial and residential mortgage origination. I believe what sets Bella Mortgage apart from other Originating companies is relationship. I make time to get to know my clients on a personal level. This helps me to determine their needs and wants ultimately leading to fulfilling their goals. Whether it be a first time home buyer or a experienced investor determining their ultimate goal is a top priority. I am most excited to have the ability to meet any client needs no matter what their unique situation may be. At Bella Mortgage we have access to over 150 lenders. If there is a will there is a way, we can get practically any transaction completed for our clients. I got to where I am today with hard work and determination. It’s not always easy but it is always rewarding and satisfying because I love helping people. There were and still are challenges along the way. I overcome the challenges by staying educated in my industry and always putting the customer first. I have found by doing that things always seem to work out with the best outcome possible.
Lessons I have learned along the way that have contributed to my success is the ability to be an excellent listener and never assume anything.
I would like the world to know that no matter what your unique situation is Bella Mortgage is here to help you reach your goals. We work for our clients with loyalty and determination.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some fun places to visit would the Van Gogh exhibit, The Museum of Natural Science and the museum of Fine Arts, NASA, the Pleasure Pier in Galveston, and The Galleria. Places to hang out would be Sporting Club and Handle Bar on Washington or Unicorn Disco in Midtown. Some great places to eat are the Burger Joint in the Heights, Mastros in Uptown and Bisou in the galleria area.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My son Wayman Jeu III. He always supports and encourages me. He is wise beyond his years.
