We had the good fortune of connecting with Ku Egenti and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ku, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
When making career choices, you have to take risk. Risk is the only way to prove that you can actually accomplish that goal that you chose for yourself & career.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Well, I am a stand up comedian from Houston, Texas. I was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. I am so proud and excited to be releasing my new comedy album at the end of year. This will be my second about in 4 years. I am super pumped to be still be creatively funny after 14 years of doing comedy.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My 5 favorite places in the city of Houston are The Secret Group, Houston Improv, Rudyard’s Pub, Christian Tailgate White Oaks Bar & Darwin’s Pub.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would definitely wanna give my late mother a big shout out. She was the most important person in my life. I needed her approval more than anything. It’s a Nigerian thing I suppose. Nigerian parents are very hard to impress.
