We had the good fortune of connecting with Mahesh Sriram and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mahesh, how do you think about risk?
As an entrepreneur, risk taking has played an important role in my life and my growth and has become an integral way of how I approach a new opportunity! As a risk taker, I think out of the box, and continue to persist even in the light of failure as I have realized that to achieve great success I must fail to succeed. If I never took risks I would never have been able to achieve what I have to date. Taking a risk means stepping out of my comfort zone to explore a new way of thinking. Being innovative is a primary reason why I have been successful and have found the energy to fuel the work I do and the dreams I have had to do the things I believe in. As an entrepreneur, actor and model, risk taking has been part of my journey both in my personal life choices and in my career decisions. For myself, a disciplined work ethic, strategic planning and prudent timing has ensured that the risks I have taken have led to success. Being a risk taker has enabled me to take a dream, write it down to give it life and then shape it into the vision I see for that dream. It has enabled me to build in a continuous process of working for my dreams and what I believe in. Having a positive mental mindset, combined with a vision to see myself today as I wish to be today has fueled my growth as a model, actor, entrepreneur, dad and partner.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Entrepreneur, Actor & Model As a entrepreneur I have started PIXELS Multimedia which is a production company and PIXELS ACADEMY is a creative education academy mentoring students and professionals in Animation, Graphics, Visual effects and Vitual reality. As a model and Actor I am on international brands to name a few DELL Technologies, EMC, Verizon Wireless, HP, LANGRAND, GMC Denali, Methodist Hospitals, HCA, LinkedIn, HomeDepot, Meritage homes, Texas Beef council, Insperity etc. Challenges are in everything but only way to over come is to do things which we are passionate about so our dedication and focus will overcome all the challenges. Life is precious, Be humble, honest make a difference in others life …..enjoy what you doing in life!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Like the diversity in the HOUSTON with great people and variety of food to check out. Downtown for night life Galleria Mall for shopping Memorial park for golf, bike ride, Jogging. Uptown for food

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would not be who I am today without the love and support of many people who mentored me throughout my journey. A primary individual who has supported me from a young age is my family, especially my mother. I would be remiss if I did not mention her at this time! She believed in me and my dreams and encouraged me even when I felt down or frustrated. In addition, through the various stages of my life, there have been several teachers, coaches and mentors who have imparted kernels of truth and wisdom about life in general, myself and about the line of work I find myself in. I am grateful for all the lessons they have shared and I have realized that today, I would not be who I am if it had not been for their patience, guidance and experience..
