We had the good fortune of connecting with Martell Lacey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Martell, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I feel like it’s my purpose it feels natural and you inspire other’s while being your best self.Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Me being my best self sets me apart automatically. I’m most proud of the music we’ve made together. The overwhelming appreciation from new ears who enjoy what they hear and inspired by. I practice and continue to work on my craft vocally, preforming, and connecting with the audience. No it wasn’t easy. Because you have to be patient and trust the process. Learn from my mistakes is how I’ve learned. Choose the perspective that motivates me is what I’ve learned. I put my all in what I love to do. I sacrificed a lot and endured so much to get here. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
