We had the good fortune of connecting with Miracle Bey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Miracle, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of Luxurious Floating Miracles is our unwavering commitment to creating unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experiences for our clients. From the very beginning, our mission has been to go beyond providing a service—we aim to craft memories that people will cherish forever.
What sets us apart is our attention to detail, creativity, and a deep understanding of what luxury truly means. We don’t just offer dining on water and private chef services; we create moments that combine indulgence, elegance, and personal touches that feel tailor-made for each client. Whether it’s a romantic dinner on the water, a vibrant kids’ party, or a gourmet brunch setup, every experience is designed to be visually stunning, impeccably executed, and effortlessly enjoyable.
At the heart of our success is also the power of relationships. We connect with our clients on a personal level, listening to their needs and delivering beyond expectations. This connection extends to our team, who share the same passion for excellence and innovation. It’s their dedication and creativity that help bring every vision to life.
Lastly, our ability to adapt and evolve has been crucial. As trends change and our audience grows, we stay ahead by refining our services and continuously seeking inspiration. This approach keeps our brand fresh, relevant, and always in demand.
Simply put, the success of Luxurious Floating Miracles is driven by the belief that luxury is not just about what you offer—it’s about how you make people feel. When we see clients light up with joy, we know we’ve accomplished something extraordinary.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career has been a journey defined by passion, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to excellence in the culinary arts. I began my professional path at Nicholls State University’s Chef John Folse Culinary Institute, where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in 2017. Growing up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I immersed myself in the rich flavors of seafood, steak, Cajun, and Southern cuisine, which became the foundation of my culinary identity.
Early in my career, I honed my skills at renowned establishments like Ruffino’s Italian Steak and Seafood, 18 Steak at L’Auberge Casino and Hotel, and The Little Village, a fine dining Italian restaurant. These experiences advanced my expertise in Italian and fine dining cuisine, laying the groundwork for my future endeavors.
In 2019, I moved to Houston, Texas, where I was promoted to Director of Culinary Services at The Conservatory at Champion Forest. This leadership role prepared me for even greater opportunities, including becoming an Executive Sous Chef with Compass Group and later a Production Manager II with Sodexo in the Schools Division, overseeing production and operations.
What sets me apart is my ability to combine professional experience with a creative vision. I’m proud of my three invitations to cook at the Masters Golf Tournament at Augusta National and am honored to have been invited back as a Sous Chef for the 2025 tournament. This recognition is a testament to my dedication and skill in the kitchen. However, my proudest accomplishment is the successful evolution of my personal brand—from founding Catering Miracles LLC in Louisiana to launching Luxurious Floating Miracles LLC in 2024.
Luxurious Floating Miracles reflects my creative drive to offer more than just catering—it’s about curating exceptional services range from dining on water and floating basket rentals to in-home private chef experiences, chef consulting, and corporate catering. Each offering is designed with five-star quality, ensuring every client feels pampered and special.
Getting here wasn’t easy. Balancing the demands of leadership roles, building a brand, and navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship required resilience, adaptability, and a steadfast belief in my vision. I’ve learned that success is not just about skill but also about mindset, collaboration, and always striving to exceed expectations.
What I want the world to know is that Luxurious Floating Miracles is more than a catering company—it’s a reflection of my journey, passion, and dedication to creating unforgettable experiences. I’ve poured my heart into building a brand that celebrates the art of dining, the joy of connection, and the beauty of thoughtful details. For me, it’s not just about serving food; it’s about crafting moments that people will cherish forever.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit, I’d take them to 10 must-visit spots that capture Houston’s vibrant culture, food, and nightlife. We’d start with brunch at The Breakfast Klub, known for its wings and waffles, and dinner at Xochi, an Oaxacan gem with mezcal cocktails. For BBQ, we’d hit Truth BBQ for tender brisket. A day exploring Space Center Houston or kayaking at Buffalo Bayou Park would showcase the city’s adventurous side, while art lovers would marvel at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. At night, we’d unwind with rooftop views and dining at Post Houston, sip craft cocktails at Anvil Bar & Refuge, or relax at Axelrad, a beer garden with hammocks and live music. These spots perfectly combine Houston’s culinary brilliance, cultural gems, and buzzing nightlife.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my heartfelt shoutout to my mother, Yvonne Bey, who has been the cornerstone of my journey and success. Watching her juggle multiple businesses while homeschooling me and my sibling was nothing short of inspiring. She didn’t just teach us academics; she provided us with a foundation in life skills, discipline, and entrepreneurial spirit.
One of the most meaningful gifts my mother gave me was teaching me how to cook. Those lessons in the kitchen weren’t just about making meals—they ignited the passion I have for cooking today. She showed me the art of creating something meaningful through food, the joy it can bring to others, and how it can be a powerful form of expression. That passion has been the driving force behind my career and the creation of Luxurious Floating Miracles.
Her decision to turn our homeschool into a school for other children speaks to her selfless nature and commitment to empowering others. Beyond academics and culinary skills, she taught me how to run a successful business with integrity, resilience, and an unshakable belief in myself.
Everything I’ve achieved is deeply rooted in the values, lessons, and passions she instilled in me. Her mentorship and unwavering belief in my potential continues to inspire me daily. Yvonne Bey is more than a mother; she’s a role model, a visionary, and my greatest cheerleader. I owe so much of my journey to her guidance and the example she set for me and my siblings.
