We had the good fortune of connecting with Moncy Hawkins and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Moncy, how does your business help the community or world?
Fig Restoration provides hope and a transformed lifestyle to future homebuyers, entrepreneurs and professionals that suffer with less than perfect credit profiles. It gives the opportunity for families to become homeowners and in some instances, these clients are the first in their families to break out of poverty and create a new legacy for generations to come behind them. Entrepreneurs are able to obtain funding in order to grow their businesses, create jobs, and build the economy. Fig Restoration goes beyond credit repair by offering mindset motivation to every client that reassures them that they can have a better lifestyle and that they don’t have to stay stuck. Many clients go on to have true financial liberty which impacts society in too many ways to list here today.
What should our readers know about your business?
I know firsthand what it’s like to have bad credit, lose everything, and feel hopeless. Because of that, I truly care about every client and know what it takes to achieve restoration. I relate to my clients, no matter their income or professional status because I too have walked in their shoes. I’m most proud of every smile and thank you from clients that say, thank you for transforming my life, because they thought that they would never be in a position to live the lifestyle they dream of. My business has grown because I make sure to operate with integrity, being sure to never over promise and under deliver. I have invested a lot of money, long days, and nights into increasing my knowledge, systems, and overall mindset in order to better serve my clients. It has not been easy and I have been met with adversity in my own life that almost caused me to quit, however, because I surround myself with people that are smarter than I am and people who genuinely care about me, I have been able to overcome every challenge, which forced me to remember my “why’ and stay the course. If you want to change the world, you cannot do it alone. Fig Restoration is not only a business but my ministry whose purpose is much bigger than myself. Clients that I am blessed to come into contact with have a story of their own and an even bigger purpose that they must fulfill and I’m just thankful to play a small part in that. FIG stands for Faith in God, which is the foundation of my company and the hope is to offer a new beginning and life-transforming services to every client as I prove that financial freedom is attainable for all generations!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am more of a homebody, however, we would have to order crawfish from Hanks Crabshack in Katy, TX. I love the beach so we would definitely ride out to Galveston, even though I don’t swim or get in the water. I know, weird right?!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Wow, I don’t even know where to begin. My success can most certainly be contributed to others allowing me to stand on their shoulders. My support system and network is huge and for that I am grateful. I am afraid to try and list everyone in fear of leaving any one-off. First let me say Thank you to everyone that has ever supported, referred, and encouraged me, however a special thanks go to Toni Harris Taylor, Promote Her, Marc Davenport, Damon Sorrell, Michael Joseph, Ray Davis, every referral partner & every prayer partner who believes in the purpose of Fig Restoration.
