We had the good fortune of connecting with Nia Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nia, how does your business help the community or world?
The Mindsetting Method teaches people how to regain control of their minds. There are an infinite number of distractions in the world and this revolutionary process that teaches you how to solve your problems and create sustainable success by aligning your beliefs, thoughts, and actions with GOD’s purpose for your life. So many people are suffering various mental challenges, and The Mindsetting Method will teach them that if they learn how to set their mind they won’t have to keep shifting their mind. The benefits of Mindsetting work are compounding and include: having a solid spiritual, emotional, and mental foundation based on your beliefs & expectations, having the freedom that comes from a relationship with GOD separate from the rules of religion, having a clear understanding of your purpose, being able to reset yourself before you get overwhelmed or broken down, having a clear headspace to be able to live life according to your own definition of success.
These results of The Mindsetting Method have given my clients the freedom, informed power, and confidence that they have lacked for many years. I believe that when our minds must be strong, our bodies will follow and will be able to do more than we can ever imagine.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Mindsetting Method is set apart because Christianity and mindset are rarely merged in popular conversation. I believe it’s important to let all people know that they don’t have to suffer through challenges and along the road to entrepreneurship. Jesus was a revolutionary entrepreneur and we can learn so much from His example. Also, most of the most successful people of all time have a regular Mindsetting practice. It may not be The Mindsetting Method specifically, but they rely on a continuous process to direct and maintain control over their thoughts, which is the number one contributor to their continued success. I believe it’s my assignment to teach people how to align their mind with their assignment, so more people will focus on living the life they were meant to live instead of suffering as they try to mimic the life someone else is living. The journey to this point wasn’t easy but it was very necessary. It also was only hard because of my initial unwillingness to let go of who I thought I was and who I thought I had to be to become successful. I’ve learned that there is an openness that comes with entrepreneurship. We have to be open to continuously improving who we are if we are to continuously improve the lives of others. I’ve been able to do this for myself by relying on The Mindsetting Method every step of the way. Ultimately, I want the world to know that GOD doesn’t want us to suffer or have confused or clouded minds. But we as individuals have to take responsibility for ourselves and regain control of our minds. It’s not okay to let them run away from us. It’s possible to learn how to set your mind on all the things that you want to be, do, and have in this world. And it doesn’t matter who you are or where you’ve come from or what has happened to you, mental strength is possible. Success is possible. Changing the world is possible. We can do it, if we set our minds to it.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
NYC has so much to offer that I think the key to truly enjoying it is to be flexible and live without a tight schedule. So I would let them enjoy the best brunch, walk in the park, late night bar that the borough they’re in has to offer. Then I would add to that dinner and a Broadway play.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Obviously, all credit goes to GOD for blessing me and trusting me to bring this transformational process into the world. But I’m also very appreciative of the prayers of my close friends who encouraged me to keep working hard in the beginning when there was no book and no course. I also appreciate my informal online mentors aka the amazing entrepreneurs I follow on Instagram: Myliek Teele, Mattie James, and Mahdi Woodard. They have each in their own way encouraged me to be myself while I stretch myself. It sounds strange but I think it’s totally working.
