We had the good fortune of connecting with Simone “Queen” Hopes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Simone, what’s some conventional advice you disagree with?
I disagree with the following advice: “Quit your day job and follow your dreams” “No one ever got rich working a 9-5” I think it’s quite funny the negative connotation that having a “regular” job gets. Honestly, no one ever wakes up one day and knows exactly what they want to do in life. Of course, we have dreams, but sometimes your main job opens your eyes to your purpose. It sparks your hustle. Instead of the conventional advice of “quitting your job and following your dreams,” let’s change it to, “allow your day job to FUND your dreams!” Be strategic and intentional with your time. Understand that financial struggles don’t have to be a part of starting your business. Of course, you might have some setbacks and failures, but those are just measures for improvement. Work smarter and not harder. Even going part-time at your career job, it allows you to fuel your entrepreneurial spirit until you can afford to pursue that dream fulltime. It also gives you a start to multiple streams of income and stability. My Advice: 1. Trust God’s timing! 2. Write your vision, give yourself realistic goals, pray, and GET TO WORK! 3. Fund your dreams through your job! 4. Hustle and hard work will get you far. Be personable and build strategic relationships. 5. There’ll be good days and bad days but one consistent should be your discipline/drive!

As a Surgical Physician Assistant, I believe my medical knowledge sets me up perfectly to start my own injection business. As an aesthetic injector providing beauty tips and enhancing injections, my medical background allows me the knowledge to ensure proven results. It takes a skillful eye to know where and how to inject and the knowledge to understand the anatomy and functions of muscles and vasculature. It was not easy to get to this position. After multiple years of school and training, I never took “no” for an answer. When challenges present themselves, you have to use them as fuel to propel you to the next level. Don’t become discouraged by setbacks. Starting my own injection business and lifestyle and travel blog (www.pabyday.com) have been invigorating but challenging. When people think of my brand I want them to think: “Result driven. Realistic. Relatable. Rejuvenating.” & “Queen The Aesthetic Injector” I have an aesthetic eye. I remain honest and provide real results for those I encounter. When people think of Queen The Aesthetic Injector, I want them to think of quality and realistic beauty enhancements with an alluring vibe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I wouldn’t be here without God’s guidance and grace. My family continues to support every single one of my endeavors. I have unwavering love and support from my friends as well. My favorite part about pursuing my own dreams is the consistent confirmation I receive from strangers! Whether it’s a random text of encouragement, social media DMs, or random emails and customer reviews, I owe my continued success to them.
