We had the good fortune of connecting with Tosin Tee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tosin, what matters most to you?
A value or principle that matters most to me is discipline. Discipline to me is a principle that can literally take you to the next level within a matter of days to months. If you can actually implement discipline in your life and implement positive habits that you habitually live by, you are guaranteed to excel.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets me apart from others is my realness within my creativity. I’m not aiming to look like the next creator nor am I aiming to look like what everyone would want to see but i’m aiming to create in my truth and just be myself. I want whatever I do to feel natural and never as if i’m forcing myself to be something I’m not. I think how I got to where I am now is just pushing through the multiple obstacles that came my way. It was not easy at all but any step forward in the right direction is a step forward towards your goal. I over came challenges by going through whatever emotion I was facing. No matter what happened If I needed a break, I took one. I’ve learned to always remember I’m moving at my own pace towards God’s will and not at anyone else’s pace. I want the world to know that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I think the city of Houston has a lot of fun things to do entirely. Literally within the city of Houston you can go anywhere and have a good time. I personally would take them to go get food at a place called Joey Uptown, I think its a very good place to eat and love the ambiance. I’m not too big into clubbing but Houston is known for their clubbing scene. Some of the known clubs are Kamp, The Address and Heart.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God. God deserves all the recognition and all the glory in every successful step that I have taken toward my career. Jesus has been my rock through all of this, consistently guiding me into the path he has for me and for that.. he deserves all the recognition. I genuinely know without God by my side none of this could have been done.
