We had the good fortune of connecting with Trinisha Price and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Trinisha, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Unspoken Phases team plays a significant role in the success of Unspoken Phases. It is essential to have a business-minded squad; those who can pray with you, support your every decision in visioned professionally and make sure to allow no room for slack. I could remember a time of being afraid, still believing in myself, and the team stood by my side through all obstacles to help me run this business successfully and smoothly. The cosmetic industry requires you have to stay current on the trends, therefore making sure that what we create is timeless. Content plays the biggest part of the growing of Unspoken, standing out in a over saturated market can be discouraging. The success of Unspoken Phases is studying and perfecting the craft as we will always win.
What should our readers know about your business?
Like any adventure, there will be roadblocks that come your way. In 2018, I started the brainstorming face for UnspokenPhases, and that same year I lost the father of my son to domestic violence, the person that I came to first about my business adventure, and the person who was excited about it and looked forward to the launching of the Unspoken brand. I had two choices, to give up on my dream or do it for the team, and in January 2019, i chose to “do it for the team” and I launched Unspoken Phases Lash collection one year before. I offer Luxury Mink Lashes, teach beginners how to apply lashes, and how to care for the lashes so they can last. I have now started teaching classes on helping others start a lash business. This line is beginners and pro lash wearers. My logo is my eyes. I always get told that my eyes are seductive and intriguing. I’m proud of the journey of making myself a female boss. I took the pain and turned it into a happy lifestyle that will never stop. The unspoken brand is a combination of my eyes and my best friend’s lips that forms a face.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It will be a combanation of ratchet activity. Hookah lounges and none stop eating and drinking. In houston we love to go out like its a run way we just love to look good. On a saturay night the houston culture is the cars on swangers. Pull up to Carros parking lot parking lot pimp. Watch all the different color cars the loud music the cars vibrating beause of the bang in the trunk. On Sunday get our spiritual food then hit it’s Sunday funday for brunch, mimosas and music simply good vibes.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shout out to Tatiana Madrigal. My sister, my best friend, business partner, and my manager. This woman has been my team from the beginning. When I tell my story, I can’t describe it without her, even though she will say to me this is all about me. Both her and I are on the entreprenur journey together, it has been amazing to share the long nights, hours and days with a person who takes your business as if its hers and as serious as you. She went to school for business management & entertainment at the Los Angeles Film School, and I wanted no one else but her to manage all of my companies. They say you find your soul mate in a man I found mine in my friend. Thirty years of pure genuine love, a relationship that can not be sold or bought. She guides me on this life journey. Even if we both have it wrong, we hold each other’s hand and pray through it. I want to take this moment to say THANK YOU honestly!! Unspoken Phases has flourished due to your constant affirmations and countless support. I’m successful because of the successful woman on the side of me. A company is only good as the people it keeps.
