To persevere or to pivot is a question that do-ers have been asking themselves since the beginning of time. It’s never a straight road when you are doing something new, blazing a trail, breaking a ceiling, or pushing boundaries, so it’s only natural to wonder whether to give up midway. How do you know whether to keep going or to give up?

The answer is to always keep going. Yes we all face hardships but that’s just apart of life and apart of business in general. I’ve had drives crash and have to repay clients thousands of dollars, I’ve had death close to me, close business partners fold on me, the list goes on but I could never end my journey for anything. I feel like everything happens for a reason so everything that is happening isn’t because of the position you’re in or because life just sucks. There were soooooo many days that I wanted to give up. I wanted to pull my hair out and didn’t know how I was going to make it being a single mother of 4 boys! Every day it was new experience. One day my oldest son school is calling, then the next one and another one. It’s like they rotated the days of causing havoc in school and I was the only parent in the picture. No one else around. I had to balance a JOB, school, sports, kids, home and life. I cried many days and nights on my knees asking for strength and patience. How to know whether to keep going or to give up? Ill tell you if something feels easy keep going. If you feel defeated, keep going. This questions hits home for me, especially in this season. Just like most of us, I make my New Years list of goals, as I set out to accomplish said goals this year I noticed a few battles along the way. Some battles I made for myself such as doubting my potential, pushing pass tiredness and laziness, or just fighting the usual anxiety. Other battles were from outside sources such as lack of support, being told no, and the pandemic. One thing I have learned through it all is to keep going.
