I define success as a measure of the destination that a person sets for themselves and how effective they make the process along the way. One of the key traits of highly effective people is to “begin with the end in mind”. For many people we never see the full potential of our vision until later, therefore, “the end” may represent stages along the way. Once we complete that stage, it pushes us to capitalize on that success by setting our bar higher and/or become even more efficient within the boundaries of our mission. Success is about progress, and ultimately feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment in what I have achieved. Success is different for each person. As for me, staying true to myself, continuing to strive for greatness (not mediocrity), maintaining persistency on both the good & challenging days, embracing the failures (much easier said than done), keeping the focus, making the conscious decision of self-discipline (discipline is love), not allowing fear (or failures) to get in the way, and allowing myself to enjoy the fruit(s) of my labor. Success can be defined by many variations, however I define success by how much you’ve grown. We grow from the moment we are born. To have success I believe we have to watch ourselves push through one stage of learning to another one. The times I have set back and looked at the start of my business to now, success has been defined over and over again!
