In my opinion, there are two biggest myths in understanding what we do as REALTORS: Myth 1. REALTORS are “Salespeople.” It’s true we are in sales. It’s also true that we need to “sell” by closing the transaction to make revenue. Yet, the word “sales” can barely cover the full spectrum of what we do. I think the definition of “REALTOR” should be, “a REALTOR is a Producer.” We are the builders of Productions.
