Starting my day early has definitely helped me succeed creatively. I’m usually a night owl. Work through the night, go to sleep when the sun comes up. But I felt like I was wasting so much time. So I made a decision to get in the habit of waking up early centering myself and commanding my day through prayer & meditation. Since doing that, I feel more charged creatively. I made multiple promises to myself. Habit one: One of them was to work on my brand every day. Even when I can only sustain myself with working somewhere else I always want to make sure there is at least one thing I do for my brand every day. It can be as little as an Instagram post, or working on my website, answering to interview questions, anything that keeps me going. Habit two: Also I promised to help myself, to be a very supportive assistant of mine. Sometimes it is easy to get discouraged, and to only look at what you haven’t achieved yet.
