We had the good fortune of connecting with Diana Peña and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diana, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
To me, the key factor driving the success of my brand is client satisfaction. The majority of my clients come through referrals from those I’ve previously worked with. I prioritize working with small businesses because they often have great ideas, but need help crafting a visually appealing representation of their brand that truly reflects their identity and values. That’s where I come in. My goal is to preserve the essence of their brand while making it marketable. Whether it’s designing business cards or managing a website to generate organic leads, I aim to ensure my clients see and appreciate the value in what I offer.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I spend most of my time working with clients in the beauty industry. My focus is on branding, designing print materials, and creating engaging content for social media platforms. Additionally, I find great satisfaction in managing websites and staying updated on SEO trends to ensure my clients’ online presence remains strong.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Luckily, Houston always has something going on! I’d start with a delicious brunch at Gloria’s, followed by some leisure time by the pool or a visit to a museum—there are so many great options. A little thrifting and to wrap up the day, a night out at either Little Woodrow’s or The Hop would be perfect!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shoutout my family for their unwavering support in everything I do. A special thanks goes out to Angelique Rodriguez, my first client who entrusted me with building her brand and enhancing her online visibility. I also want to acknowledge my mentor, Andrew McLelland; the skills I acquired working under his guidance continue to be invaluable to me today.
