We had the good fortune of connecting with Tuesday Coffman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tuesday, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own all-natural hair care line was a deeply personal decision rooted in my own health journey. As a survivor of a stroke and brain aneurysm, I faced significant challenges with my health, including the thinning and dullness of my hair. Throughout my recovery, I searched for hair care products that were gentle, natural, and effective, but I couldn’t find exactly what I needed on the market.

This gap in suitable products prompted me to embark on creating my own hair care line. My thought process was driven by a desire to fill this void, not just for myself but for others who might be facing similar challenges. I wanted to develop products that were not only safe and free from harsh chemicals but also nourishing and revitalizing for damaged and delicate hair. And from that Hello Healthy Hair. Period was birthed.

By starting my own all-natural hair care line, I aimed to blend my personal experience with my passion for creating positive change in the beauty industry. It became a mission to provide a solution that promotes healthy hair without compromising on quality or safety. This journey has been empowering as it allowed me to turn a personal struggle into an opportunity to help others and contribute to a more inclusive and health-conscious beauty landscape

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business, Hello Healthy Hair, is a testament to my personal journey and a dedication to providing exceptional, natural hair care solutions. What truly distinguishes us from others in the market is our unwavering commitment to using only the finest natural ingredients. Each product is meticulously crafted in small batches and infused with dry herbs for six weeks to maximize potency and effectiveness.

What I’m most proud of is our mission to promote and support healthy hair. Beyond just cosmetic benefits, healthy hair is a reflection of overall well-being, confidence, and self-care. Our products are designed not only to enhance hair’s appearance but also to nourish and strengthen from root to tip.

Getting to where we are today hasn’t been easy. The journey involved overcoming various challenges, from perfecting our formulations to establishing a loyal customer base in a competitive industry. However, through perseverance and a commitment to quality, we’ve been able to carve out a niche for ourselves.

Along the way, I’ve learned invaluable lessons about the importance of authenticity and transparency. Our products are a reflection of these values, crafted with integrity and a genuine passion for natural health and beauty. We believe in empowering our customers to make informed choices about their hair care routines, knowing that they’re using products that are safe, effective, and truly beneficial.

Our dedication to small-batch production ensures that every product maintains the highest standards of quality and potency. Infusing our formulations with dry herbs for an extended period not only enhances their efficacy but also reflects our commitment to harnessing the full potential of natural ingredients.

Ultimately, our goal extends beyond providing exceptional hair care products. It’s about fostering a community that prioritizes holistic health and celebrates the beauty of natural hair. We’re excited to continue innovating, expanding our product offerings, and inspiring others to embrace the transformative power of healthy hair.

Second, I want to recognize and thank my parents, spiritual advisor, family and church that has always been my constant support.

Thirdly, the mentors and advisors who guided me as I ventured into entrepreneurship and starting my own business. Their wisdom, advice, and belief in my vision were invaluable in navigating the complexities of launching a new venture.

Lastly, I’m grateful to all the stylist/barbers in the natural health and beauty industries that educated and inspired me to pursue an all-natural approach in my hair care line. They provided the knowledge foundation necessary to create products that are both effective and safe.
